If you are looking for a beautiful stay with nice staff this is a great option. Our room was very nice and clean. We used the pool and hot tub looking over the valley. Nice fitness center and options for spa. The food service staff was wonderful but the food is average. I'd recommend hitting some local restaurants. The cheeseburger and fries were excellent here but other options we tasted were a 4 star. Drinks and wine were really good! I'd recommend this hotel to travelers! Beautiful atmosphere with fire tables outside and inside. Overall 5 star experience for us. Thank you.

Stayed in the cliffside rooms thinking it would be a little upgrade but disappointed with the room. Feels dated. The walk in shower is real tight squeeze and fixtures were on their last leg. Came back one night to a sewage smell in the room where we had to persuade the staff to move us to another room. That should have been the first offer. Asked for a firmer pillow and it took 3 asks to the front desk and a request in the app to finally get one. Stayed for our anniversary and was offered a little welcome gift (typical sparkling drink and some desserts) only shower up after I asked twice if that was coming. Hot tub was dirty - sand all over the bottom and giant hairball gave us the notice it was time to get out. Onsite restaurant was fine. Good burger and ordered brussells sprouts on the side. Overall just felt like it was not a 4 Star in facilities or service. Located a good distance from downtown which was what we were hoping for - quiet and some star gazing but it was cloudy all weekend. Can’t fault the hotel for the weather but would have wanted to do their star gazing night.

I love Adero. I've lived in Fountain Hills for four years and Adero is always my favorite place to get away to. The hotel is located in the canyon that has arguably some of the best views of Four Peaks Mountains in the state. The service has always been top notch from the bar and the waitstaff when dining. The bar manager Ricco always says hello and makes sure we are well taken care of. The hotel pool is beautiful that overlooks the town of Fountain Hills and faces Four Peaks Mountains. The food has always been great and consistent. The rooms are nice and quite for a great night sleep. The hotel gym is very large and also serves as a private club. Pickleball, tennis, and some of the best hiking trails that connect directly to the property. I'll always be a big fan of Adero and the staff!

We went here to enjoy the adero star dudes presentation. We got there a little early so I went to the bar and had a drink beforehand. The bartender was extremely nice and made some really great cocktails. After that we went out and enjoyed looking through the telescope and being told about what we were looking at. Once that was done we went back inside and ended up sitting at the bar again and ordering some food. It was delicious. The view from Adero is stunning and I highly recommend it

Let me caveat this with my husband and I very, very rarely get away from the kids. We had a sitter for two nights for the first time since my special needs son was born 8 years ago and were so looking forward to a nice escape and some relaxation. I chose the Adero because it looked 'off the beaten path' and romantic. I loved the idea of stargazing. But the whole experience left a lot to be desired. There was also a ton of maintenance noise - blowers, wood chippers, etc. Felt like a weird time to be doing maintenance since it seemed like the hotel was at capacity with people. At check-in, we were told about stargazing that evening. We were told we were upgraded to a room with a great view. When we got to our hallway, there was a combination smell of sewer and marijuana smells. Then in the room, the bed was a very old spring mattress that was not even remotely comfortable. The air conditioner made the absolute loudest noise I've ever heard when it kicked on and off. The water refiller on. our floor was a nice touch (though having no ice was weird) and the fizzy water part did not work. We walked around the property and found a shut down coffee counter and that the Spa was fully filled for the duration of our stay so we wouldn't be able to book a treatment. I had tried to book one prior to our stay, but the website wasn't working. We asked where we could get a regular diet soda and were told we'd have to order one from the bar and they weren't able to offer to go cups. The next day, we left the property for the afternoon and decided to go to the hottub midday. We turned the jets on, got in, and realized that not only was the water only lukewarm, none of the jets really worked. Put off by the prior nights' dinner experience, we ordered door dash for dinner so we didn't end up with crazy wait times again. That evening (the non stargazing night) - the tennis court lights were off and the property was quiet. We spent the evening in the room. The following day, we were checking out but decided to go down to the restaurant for brunch before we left. The service that morning was great and the food was fairly good until the end. We had told the server we were there for a belated 40th bday celebration and at the end of the meal, she offered dessert. We were full but asked if we could take it to go. We were done eating and drinking and she told us it would be out in just a few minutes. We waited almost 30 minutes and saw no servers. I finally walked back by the kitchen to ask about it and the server said "Oh gosh, you didn't get that yet??". It finally came out a few minutes later. The food was also very overpriced for what it was ($21 for what was supposed to be a burrata salad but they were out of burrata so sent out a few slices of mozzarella cheese on a plate). Honestly it feels like management is unaware of what the guest experience is like. There were many opportunities to serve as the four diamond property it's advertised as and each was a miss. All in all - it was a disappointing stay. We get out very very rarely and were so looking forward to a nice relaxing stay and instead, we were very underwhelmed. I wouldn't book again and wouldn't recommend this property. We did try to take to the manager at checkout but he left to go take care of another guest. They comped the resort fee which was something but not much given that I used points to book the room and still ended up over $400 out with two breakfasts, one appetizer and entree at dinner + fees galore. I don't mind paying the money if the service, experience, and food is good but that was just not the case at this property.
