I recently bought a boat in Havasu and towed it back the 1800+ miles to Wisconsin. It was important to me to have it wrapped well for the trip home and Advantage did a fantastic job. They provided extra care in prepping the boat and after 2 rain storms and one monsoon, the boat made it all the way without so much as a piece of tape lifting. Thanks to Bill for being accommodating when timing changed for me. I highly recommend their wrap service.

First off , I think Advantage builds a great boat . 2nd , Bill , my salesman is exceptional . My issue is with my boat not being finished in the time frame of 12 months that I was promised . I gave Advantage Boats $46,000 in June of 2021 . I was told my boat would be done in June of 2022 . They did not start on my boat until January 2022 . After being told they would be delayed an extra month , it then went to 2 months delay . It’s now delayed again until end of October if all goes well , but no guarantees . I have cancelled my order due to the delays , and they refuse to give me back my money until someone else buys the unfinished boat . We are not talking a month delay , but 4 months or possibly longer . I would be very careful if you are considering a boat from Advantage Boats of Lake Havasau. There are more reputable boat builders in the area . I am a retailer , and have gone thru the Covid era . I have given customers their money back on numerous occasions , when I could not deliver what I had promised . I did everything that was asked of me , and I have been extremely patient . Do not trust Advantage Boats of Lake Havasau . I did finally get all my money back . I bought a used Advantage boat , that I absolutely love . Advantage Boats are a great boat , and it took awhile , but they did refund my money . I am changing my score to 3 stars

Okay , this a follow up review on Advantage Boats . I gave this company $46,000 in June of 2021 to build me a 27 XFLIGHT boat . The agreement was that my boat would be finished in June 2022 . June has come and gone , as well as July , August , September , and now it's the end of October , and boat is still nowhere near complete , and maybe will be ready in December . I asked for my money back in September , after I was told that boat was even farther delayed until end of October if everything went perfect . I was told that they would not refund my money until they had a new buyer for my boat . Fast forward to today , they received a $20,000 deposit on my boat at the end of September , and also have a loan approved on the new buyer , but now they are saying they won't refund my money until they are paid in full when the boat is paid by the new buyers bank , since they only have $20,000 of the new buyers money in house . They even show Sale Pending on their website . I have done everything this company has asked , and nothing wrong . Anyone considering this company , better be very careful . They use your money to build someone else's boat , then someone else's money to build your boat . There are far better and trusted boat builders in Lake Havasau , and I hope you don't make the same mistake I did . The sad thing is , Advantage boats thinks this is good business .

Brought a new boat with a used trailer in May 2019. We paid extra for some add-ons to be installed to make it easier to get on the boat from the water. They installed one of the items on the wrong side of the boat and each time we went back to tell them, they told us oh well, we installed it correctly. We even brought in our order sheet that told them that they were in the wrong, still oh well. Once we started using the boat on the lake we realized that the boat wasn't going to work for us. Before trading it in for a pontoon at another dealer (we saved $10,000 by using a different dealer for the same exact pontoon with a brand new trailer and tires) we had a tire explode while sitting in our storage unit. We took the tire to a tire store. We found out there that the tire was from 2005 problem with that is that the trailer was from 2007. We were advised there that the other three tires would be the same age and would need to be replaced as soon as possible. What place would sell a boat trailer with 14 year old tires...obviously Advantage Power Boats. After this experience I will never recommend them to anyone, nor would I purchase anything from them again.
