Ahwatukee Community Swim & Tennis Center

We were looking for a venue to host our wedding that hosts at least 100 people, is somewhat scenic, lets you provide your own catering and alcohol and doesn't charge a handful of nonsense fees. This place did absolutely that and at the most affordable price we could find over about 2 years of searching. Highly recommend if you're looking for a DIY approach with a laidback, nonchalant booking/communication vibe. Absolutely no complaints and pleasant booking experience!

This event center was absolutely perfect for our wedding! The venue is affordable, very cute, and located in a great part of town. The event coordinator, Susan, was incredibly kind and helpful. The golf course backdrop and the beautiful hanging lights made all of our photos look amazing. It’s an open-vendor venue, which was super convenient, with the exception of the bartender being in-house. The bartender was friendly and made great drinks! Just a heads up—it is a DIY-style event center, but that worked really well for us and allowed us to personalize everything exactly how we wanted.

My husband and I just had our wedding at Ahwatukee Event Center in June and could not be happier with our choice of venue. Carolina was so kind and easy to work with during the planning stages and made sure we were happy every step of the way. She also had great communication so we were able to keep on a timeline and get everything done when we needed to. The staff on the day of were also so helpful and accommodating to make sure all the guests were happy. The venue was beautiful - with a ceremony room, reception room, outdoor patios, and a huge outdoor bar (which was a hit!). Not to mention, the scenic background of the south mountains and sunset were incredible and a great photo opportunity for guests. We definitely recommend this venue as it is perfect for a wedding or any parties and the staff were AMAZING!!! We will be planning events here in the future!

We had our destination wedding here this week and it was perfect! Since it was a destination wedding Susan did an amazing job communicating with us!! Thank you Ahwatukee Event Center for giving me the wedding of my dreams!

Had my baby’s 1st birthday here and the venue was beautiful and spacious! The event specialist Carolina was easy to work with, she was very friendly and accommodating. The other staff were also really nice.
