Alvernon Park

Decent park, its always clean when I visit and has lots of grass so my clients dogs love it.

Nice and quiet park. The trees provide the only shade. There are 3 tables with grills available. Basketball court, some swings, and a small jungle gym. No restrooms.

It's a very pretty little park that my son and I just discovered because we were looking for someplace quiet on Labor Day to walk our dog. The downside was the two used needles my son found on top of the children's playhouse and the unhoused gentleman who, we think, was trying to sell us alcohol and was then joined by a woman who also mumbled something to us. We politely declined, but our "quiet" place turned out to not be.

Love this cute park. Clean, lots of green grass, kids area and good neighborhood

Some of the trees lose there leaves in the winter but they look like they've all been deprived of water around the perimeter. Many of them clearly have.
