AMF Tempe Village Lanes

To start, the service was almost uniformly great. One staff member didn't seem as interested, but with so many lanes in use, and so many staff - only one, likely very busy, staff being disengaged, or focused elsewhere, is a great ratio. Furthermore, aside from the main attraction of bowling lanes, the additional pub-style food court (which we didn't use, so I can't comment on prices or service), and a small arcade (which we didn't use, so I can't comment on prices or selection of games) makes the AMF Tempe Village Lanes a place that most people could find entertaining for almost any event. Overall, with fun activities, good service, and a decent price (for the bowling it was about $125-$150, all in, for two games for family of five) - this location was well worth a visit.

They do a great job keeping the lanes cleaned and oiled. The action on the ball is always good. Also the seating floor area is clean so not to worry about fouling up the lane approach. Place is kept nice and clean. Be certain to keep your bar tab separate from the lane rental as the tip was for the entire bill. Didn’t feel there should be the option to tip the bowling rental.

Excellent place to spend time with family or friends. The service is very good, and the food and liquor are delicious. As a suggestion, I might say they should lower the price of the prizes in the arcade area; they're too expensive for a child to win a prize.

The app sampler is delicious & really cost effective for a group/ having leftovers for the next day. Unlimited bowling after 7 is a steal for an after work activity that won’t break the bank. Groups of 6 or less could be cramped by the adjacent lane but as long as you’re cool I wouldn’t picture any issues. They have waiter service which is on point and a great atmosphere to just chat & bowl.

Generally people were friendly and service was expedient. However the plates that we got were very dirty, and it was like they either weren't washed or were washed by just being rinsed off or something. This of course made it tough to trust the kitchen :-) however they did their best to make things right and the folks there had a good attitude overall It was a great experience in a great memory, and will be back! You can't judge a place by its first experience too harshly, they were really busy considering. But the lanes were well kept, they had plenty of shoe sizes and such for rental, the place overall was neat and clean so I think the plate debacle was an anomaly. For what it's worth the pizza and snacks that they made were good considering - but just know you don't go to a bowling alley for gourmet Pizza :-)
