Babbitt's Backcountry Outfitters

I am very grateful for the staff at Babbitt's. They walked me through the sizing of 4 different backpacking bags in order to find the perfect fit. They showed me how to make adjustments on all the varying belt, shoulder, load lifters, and back height adjustments. They even went as far as to place an order for the exact model and color that they didn't have on the floor. Not only that, but they were open and accepting of me bringing my esa dog in to help me shop. I highly recommend this outfitter for anyone looking for seriously good gear, rare finds, and knowledgeable and kind staff 5⭐

Don’t purchase from here. It was so funny, They were kind enough to give me a locals discount on a rainy day when I bought an umbrella. Not even 3 hours later my umbrella was stolen, and I called to ask for a replacement and they rudely declined. Saying there was nothing they could do. I know other businesses that would give you a replacement simply because they care about their customers. For example, Hike Shop, Prescott, Az; Henna Shoppe, Phoenix Az, And Govee.com. All reliable and your purchase and customer hood matters, unlike at this senseless shop.

Great store. Lots of good clothing, footwear, hiking stuff, etc. I wanted to take it all home! They have a very nice selection of jackets, shirts, and pants. I love that they carry Anetik stuff. They are also cool enough to give free stickers to customers.

My family was in Flagstaff for a marching band competition in October of 2023. We visited Babbitt's Backcountry store where I purchased a shirt. BUT, this shirt wasn't just any shirt. It had a picture of a dog wearing a sombrero on it and it looked just like my dog, Libby. You can say Libby is my therapy and she means so much to me. I rescued Libby when she was 4.5 months old and she will be 7 this year. Libby and I were in a pretty bad car accident together in 2022, so we definitely share a strong bond. Well, I recently had a cleaning mishap and soft scrub bleached my favorite shirt. I was SO bummed about it and couldn't just stop by the store to get another one as we live about 3 hours away. I sent an email to Babbitt's, where I received an immediate response. I spoke with Matt and he was happy to help me out and ship new shirts to me. I purchased 5 more shirts for my family and myself. This made my day and I am so thankful for the customer service that I received. I will be sure to visit the store in the future. Regards, a happy customer

Fantastic store with quality brands many stores don't carry. I always find a great pair of hiking shoes that look smart and make the hike very comfortable. Dog hiking accessories. Clothing with styles I don't find at REI. I particularly enjoy their books department for a complete library of outdoors in Arizona. Babbits is my go to outdoors essentials supplier.
