The music and dancing were excellent, as always. Ballet Arizona continues to deliver technically strong performances, and I genuinely enjoyed the updated costumes and choreography. Unfortunately, the audience experience seriously detracted from the evening. I was seated directly in front of a disruptive child who repeatedly kicked my seat and made loud mouth noises in time with the music throughout the first act. After telling the child to stop—twice—and then addressing her clearly impaired mother, the behavior continued uninterrupted. Another nearby patron also complained. At intermission, I went to the box office to request a refund, as the performance had been effectively ruined. I was told all sales are final, reseated, and offered a hot chocolate voucher. While the reseating helped somewhat, it does not address the underlying issue: disruptive audience members should be removed, not accommodated at the expense of everyone else who paid for tickets. Live performance etiquette matters. When behavior repeatedly interferes with the experience of multiple patrons, staff intervention should include asking the offending party to leave. Offering concessions to affected guests while allowing the disruption to continue sends the wrong message. The dancers deserve better, and so does the audience.

Really lovely production of Sleeping Beauty. Set and costumes were on point. They applied the cost of a ticket we were unable to use to our account which was great.

Alice in Wonderland was simply incredible. Looking forward to many more shows here.

I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the quality of work Ballet Arizona has provided throughout the valley inspiring artists of all kinds to be creative through the high requirement of excellence in all they do. From the staff to the dancers, nothing is allowed less than excellence. If you get a chance to see any of their members performing from the school to company, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Performances to not miss: any Botanical Gardens performance, All Balanchine, Contemporary Moves, Coppéllia, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Today's Masters and Romeo & Juliet.

WOW! Such talent! We saw Eroica yesterday (Fri., May 23. 2025) evening. The weather was perfect, our seats were great, the music was stunning and the performance was exqusite. I haven't seen other big city ballet companys perform but I can't imagine that the dancers are any more athletic, talented, and beautiful than our Ballet Arizona! Thank you for sharing your talent with us at the Botanical Gardens!
