Barrios Unidos Park

Good size park with a playground, basketball courts, restrooms and plenty of space to move around. This park is also located at the end of one of the runways so great viewing spot for airplanes, landing and taking off

Don't let the location fool you. There's plenty of sports associations including soccer for adults and youth, baseball and flag football from what I've seen. It is right next door to a police station so it's got a constant flow of police following in and out of the area making it feel a little extra safe. The playground is modern like many other Phoenix playgrounds. Well lit basketball courts and bathroom area. If you live nearby don't exclude it and go take a walk along the curvy paths. Plus if you like planes it's in direct path of flights from sky harbor.

I take the kids of parents both users and addicts i feel safer being next to the police stAtion

Good quiet park with benches in the shade for eating in comfort. Baseball field with safety cage, volleyball court, basketball court all on site. They have bathrooms on site as well. The children have access to a large playground fit for kids off all ages. There wasn't anything that presented any fancy to the children and with Burger Tight down the street it will make for a great lunch and play for the kids. It would make a great lunch date as well.

This beats alot of local city parks in Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe ...the park is clean safe and gives you a sense of childhood memories gone by when parks were safe fun and adventurous...!!! Great job to parks and rec. Of Phoenix and the community for making this park a wonderful place to visit ..
