The only lodging directly at Arizona Snowbowl, Basecamp sits on six acres of ponderosa pines at the base of the ski area. The property features 19 cabin-style rooms and 5 motel-style rooms, plus a full-service restaurant and bar. Wake up, walk to the lifts, and ski all day without ever touching your car. After a day on the slopes, warm up at the Fremont Restaurant with craft cocktails and mountain views. Basecamp is the ultimate ski-in, ski-out experience in Arizona.

Nearest to Az snowbowl. The cabin was cozy and there was no bugs which was surprising. Service was very good and they restore their complimentary snacks and pastries at 6:30am for breakfast. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the reviews are good so I recommend it.

Absolutely awesome cabin to stay in. Super comfy bed. There is no microwave and fridge therefore plan accordingly. The space is great. There is a restaurant onsite, but I was too full from eating pizza to check out. They provide wrapped treats and muffins and hot coffee. Definitely want to come back. The bathroom was very nice too. Super friendly staff.

The room did not have central heating and relied on a fireplace instead. The noise at night was extremely loud. We checked out and returned the key before 11:00 a.m. As agreed with the front desk, we waited on the porch between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for pickup because there was no shuttle bus to the ski area. Despite this, we were still charged a $20 late checkout fee. In addition, we did not receive any assistance from the front desk that morning when we had trouble redeeming our ski tickets online. Instead, we were directed to the ski area ticket window, where we had to wait in line for about 1.5 hours.

I came up from Phoenix to see the Fall colors. I love this place with their cabins, gas stove Heating, and it has a fun restaurant/bar on the property with patio seating in the front and a large backyard with variety of seating and yard games like Big Blocks for Jenga and a large checkers board. My one nigh stay in a very clean Queen bed cabin w bathroom & walk-in shower that was great as I have a walking handicap. There is a front porch w 4 Adirondack chairs to sit out & watch the night sky. It came with a free gondola ride pass which I had planned to do anyway so it worked out great!! The price was less than $90, which is a steal for such a nice stay😃 Oh, and it is dog friendly so gonna plan the next time with my dog owning friend.

Rooms small with no accommodation, walls are paper thin, have people drunk in the room next to us talking at midnight and can hear their whole conversation. Recommend staying at a real hotel or leaving staff overnight so that they can quiet down the drunks.
