Blaze Pizza - Phoenix Bell Rd

I actually really like Blaze Pizza. We hadn't had it and years and recently bought a house less than 5min away from Blaze so we decided to order for pickup. Food was ready on time. However, there was a long black hair baked into our cheesy bread. My wife has blonde hair and I don't have long hair so it definitely was not from us, and it's pretty obviously baked into the cheese. I contacted an email for Blaze Pizza on Sunday and was told they forwarded it to the store and that they would reach out. No one has reached out yet. So, hopefully soon they do because I feel as a partial refund is in order.

Okay, so I tried this Blaze Pizza for the first time and it was perfect timing. I went for lunch and it wasn’t crowded at all, which was clutch since I had a quick client meeting. The whole setup is super easy. You walk down the line and build your own pizza exactly how you want it, which is actually kind of fun. They’ve got a solid lunch special for under $15, so it’s easy on the wallet too. The staff was friendly and quick, and the space itself felt welcoming with a mix of tables and booths. Definitely one of those low-stress, reliable lunch spots I’d go back to without thinking twice.

I was so excited as I’ve been out of state for 5+years, I awaited through renovations to come have their food! I had a salad as that’s what I was hungry for, BUT maybe it varies by location as the salad ingredients were few and far between. I don’t usually like to make a fuss, but I felt like it was a 3.5/5. The waitress helped the customer next to me, and asked him if he wanted a refill on his drink, and walked away. Then came up and asked him for another refill, if he wanted to go cup and if you wanted dessert and he said no, so then she came back with the bill. I did try to get her attention, BUT she ignored me. The customer next to me says maybe you should order what I ordered and you get better service and chuckled and I chuckled too and I said yeah apparently I just needed to order a house salad and a slice of sausage pizza and I would’ve gotten better Service and should I order a mini oregano’s favorite and a large pizza to go the manager then brings me the pizza out and I said well I’d really like to have paid but you need to eat first. I said I already ate. I asked her for my bill over 15 minutes ago and she has ignored me and she just keeps taking care of new customers that literally just sat down.. He’s like oh, I said well typically I would tip really well but today’s visit is not gonna get a very good tip based on the service and what not he’s like I understand mean for the girl I know her name but I’m not gonna hurt her I’m not gonna put her name out here. I won’t do that to her. Hopefully, he has a conversation on how to serve better.. I still tipped her I would not do that to her and the funniest thing was she handed me the bill and she stood at me like a deer in headlights like are you gonna hurry up and pay now I paid her as I keep the change so when she gets her tip, she’s gonna be like whoa. I hope the manager has a conversation with her a whole family came and had food for people and we’re finished after me and still got another faster than I did so no I would say I may not come back to this location. Oh and my pizza is absolutely cold. I wanted to have one slice of pizza when I get home cause I was so annoyed. I did not want to stay there any longer, but my whole entire pizza is cold so now I’m gonna have to heat it up in the oven and I don’t live that far I know pizza has gone up, but I had 3 topping on a large Pizza and it was over $31 No way should that happen especially when I can guarantee my pizza prob sat awhile before her brought it to me🤬

I LOVE Blaze pizza. First time at this location. Great customer service and great tasting pizza. I always get the spicy sauce and lots of cheese and veggies. It was delicious.

The food is actually pretty decent. I will tell you honestly though I am really glad there was a zero tip option. Drink selection is really poor. Menu board is not up to date. Employees try to skimp on toppings and have to be asked three and four times. The customer service at this place would be a really good example of why google needs to institute a fractional star system.
