BlueWater Resort and Casino

They were great at the front desk—super friendly and helpful. All guests 21 and older receive a $10 play card that’s good on some machines. Our room was clean, and the shower was amazing. The pool area is gigantic, but it was down for repairs. I was told it has not been working for as long as my friend could remember. There’s also no WiFi unless you are standing close to the check-in desk. Signs say, “No WiFi for now. Sorry for the inconvenience,” but I was told they haven’t ever had WiFi. Cell service was scant, but we made it work for the one night stay. There was absolutely nothing to do in the area, so if you aren’t a gambler, you might want to go elsewhere. We did have two fantastic burger/fries and free bottles of water for $25, so that was a plus. TLDR: would skip this one—good burgers, but no pool, no WiFi, and not much TV.

First off, we looked around the Parker area for a place with a spa tub as we were pining for a warm soak. It excited us that the resort had one, so we made the reservation. Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances (we were told it was a break in the water line in the pool area) it wasn't operational when we arrived. Upon asking, we were refunded the $15 "resort fee". Like most reviewers state, this place is dated. Opened in 1999, most of it is from that era. The bed felt good but the bedding was absolutely worn out and ill-fitting on the king we had in our suite (5009/5010). HVAC system was old but worked okay. The entirety of our room floor was tiled. It lasts forever but is forever cold. Food quality and service were beyond expectations. Food prices were very reasonable. We can't say enough good things about the staff, everyone was very kind and helpful.

We camped by the water in our RVs and had a casita right at the river’s edge, which was really nice and made for a great setting. The area can be quite noisy at times, with frequent ATV traffic, and we did run into a few issues with people trying to claim sites they hadn’t paid for. That said, management handled those situations promptly and professionally. Jaime was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, welcoming, and truly on top of everything. Her hospitality made us feel genuinely valued, and she went above and beyond by providing discount food vouchers and casino credit, which we really appreciated. In contrast, her relief ranger, Robert, was not helpful and came across as rude, including speaking negatively about other employees, which was disappointing. Because of Jaime, our visit was very enjoyable, and we would only consider staying again when she is on duty. I also celebrated my birthday at the Twisted Gypsy concert with friends, and we had a fantastic time. We felt very safe throughout our stay, as security was clearly visible and on patrol 24/7.

I was only at the casino for a concert and did not stay so I cannot speak to the rooms or service. The casino is fun and the concert venue has great acoustics!! Love the intimate concert venue. Staff was very kind and helpful. Tons of parking and valet is available! Highly recommend a visit if you're in Parker, Arizona!!

We've been enjoying Bluewater's views and accommodations for years! The view of the river from any room you get is such a beautiful way to wake up every morning to. The grill's food is so abundant and flavorful - and the kids love the water slide. Stay there a couple of times a year and keep coming back, there's no reason to stay anywhere else when in Parker!
