Children's Memorial Park

First time visiting this park 😍 I love the view 🥰🫠 I found it interesting to see in the very end of a corner like a wedding reception going on 😅 ups because I sat near a bench to eat “free bench so I’m sorry I don’t live in Tucson and did not say reserve”. Oh my god but the bench was awesome with a checkers boardddddddd🤩🤩🤩🤩 me and my child love checkers so we were in love 😍 I like that the park looks like it’s a calm neighborhood and it’s so close to so many shopping areas or food restaurants! Or public restrooms options that in a car are about three minutes instead of going into the park bathroom area 😅 I avoid park restrooms so for me it was a win win 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I will definitely visit this park again and plan on taking pictures and having a blast 🫶🏻

This is one of my favorite parks. The Parks and Recs workers in this park are so nice and they do a wonderful job keeping this park clean. 😎❤️💚🌵🦋💯🦄🎂♾️👍🍃

***DOG LOVERS USE EXTREME CAUTION AT THIS PARK/ ROUNDUP EXPOSURE Tucson City Worker(main supervisor )is extremely rude. HE DOES NOT CARE IF YOU DO NOT COME TO THIS PARK because he is spraying ROUNDUP. February 2, 2026 he was riding in his maintenance cart and was spraying ROUNDUP (Weed killer)These are results for is it safe to spray roundup around people and animals? NO, it is not SAFE to spray ROUNDUP while PEOPLE and ANIMALS are in the immediate vicinity(PARK). Direct exposure to the wet spray can cause immediate health issues, and safety guidelines require keeping people and pets away from the treated area until the product has completely dried.

The memorial part of the park is absolutely beautiful. That is my favorite part. However, parking is tight and VERY limited. Also, there is only a tiny, tiny slide at the playground. May have been a larger slide before that has since been removed. Therefore, not much left of the playground but monkey bars and little rock climbing thingy. Swings are available. Bathrooms very clean.

My brother had his son’s birthday party here at a Ramada by the playground, it was nice until it got dark, the lights at the Ramada was off. It was hard to see and it does get dark early so we had to leave early.
