Went in for quick happy hour. Clam chowder was Smokey, creamy, a bit on the saltier side but very tasty. The fish taco was not a recommendation for me. The cod is bland on its own, batter was greasy and tasted like chicken bouillon. Chef choice ceviche was good. The grilled oysters were absolutely fantastic. Customer service was great! The restaurant was very clean and not much of a raw smell for a fish market.

This place has been on my radar for YEARS and we finally made it in....I was not disappointed! Shout out to Abbas...dude knows his stuff!!! Very knowledgeable, accommodating, enthusiastic, committed, and honestly so passionate about the brand that you get excited before you even order. Just such a nice guy that elevated the whole experience. Food was so good that it was eaten before I could even take photos. We started with some raw Prince Caspian oysters with all the fixings and the chef's civiche - perfect blend of acid and heat. We also did the Cod Po' Boys and OMG soooooooo good. My husband hates Po Boys and he couldn't stop raving about how good it was - bread was nice and soft, fish was perfectly fried, and it was expertly dressed (just the right amount of slaw and remoulade). Under Abbas's recommendation, we tried the grilled fish tacos and absolute heaven! Fresh Ono flown in from Hawaii, and it truly took me back to the islands. Finished with a delicious orange and pistachio trifle. What a refreshing experience to get truly fresh seafood where care is really taken with the ingredients. We will be back for sure as there are many many more things to sample...and with fresh options, there will always be welcome surprises.

Fresh fish, good food, friendly staff! Today I tried two tacos the fish and also the shrimp street tacos. Both of them were $6 during happy hour. I also had a bowl of clam chowder. All the food was good It was a very lead-back atmosphere I do recommend this place.

Loved my experience at Chula Seafood Uptown. The food was amazing — the shrimp burrito was honestly the best I’ve ever had, full of flavor with perfectly cooked shrimp. The tuna Hawaiian bowl was just as good, super fresh and really well balanced. The staff was so friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Also worth mentioning: they’re currently offering $20 free when you buy a $100 gift card, and the special is running through December 31st. It was such a great deal that I bought $300 worth of gift cards. Can’t wait to go back and use them!
