Why did it take me so long to find this long time dive bar staple in Scottsdale? It will from now on be our first stop when we are in town. You got to look the time and commitment it took to put up all the Xmas ornaments. Great fun patrons and bartenders. Drinks are priced right and ample.

Beauty place we walked by and seen all the lights on our first night in town. A local told us about it a day later so we had to go back and check it out, glad we did. Sunday football, cold beers, good relaxed vibe and people! Cheers from SK Canada!

I came here after my 25-year high school reunion, and the experience at the door was incredibly disappointing. When I politely asked if there was any way to skip the line, the man at the door told us it would be $20 per person. I agreed and handed him the money, but he became rude and confrontational over the bills. When I told him he wasn’t being kind, he shoved the money back into my purse and told me to “get out of here.” I’ve tried calling the establishment several times to speak with a manager, but no one ever answers. No guest should be treated this way. This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. I hope management takes this seriously because this kind of behavior drives people away. I asked the young man to get a manager, and he said that he was the security manager and gave me a very nasty and mean look, dead in the eyes like I had done something so horrible to him. It hurts my heart that people behave like this. I hope that whoever runs this business reads this and realizes they should not hire such individuals. The picture below is of us at the Beverly down the street. We had a lovely evening. We didn’t let the rude security guy ruin our night.

Unique outdoor/indoor dive bar with Christmas vibes all year round. Good place to meet up and have a couple beers to start the night. Watched Sunday night football here while in town for a Rams playoff game and we had a fun night on the town.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but last night was extremely unprofessional and plain old unkind. I was with a guy who bought our 2 beers for around $8 at the outside bar. He only had exact cash for the beers, besides a large bill, so he paid the $8 and went to the food truck for food and to break the larger bill for a tip when we went back. We go back to order, keep in mind he has 3 $5’s in his pocket for the previous $8 tab, and another $5 for this round. I tell her my drink and she says “Oh I already served you once. I’m here to make money, so I’m not doing that again.”.. I’m actually baffled and confused. I said what 3 times while she ignored me AT THE BAR. I look at the guy I’m with and say is it because you didn’t have the tip? He’s fuming and will clearly now not be giving her that $20 tip. So I tell her I will tip her largely if she makes my drink, to which she responds “I gotta make money, so okay”. I told her she could have been kind. Tipping is a huge deal in a lot of industries. I’m big on tipping people, but to be treated poorly and not served because you were not YET tipped on a $8 bill is wild. She would have made a lot of money from us last night in tips, but I switched to the inside bar. Very very sad to see unkind people bullying others. That’s not customer service, which is what a tip is based on.. I will not be back. :/
