This is the most beautiful National Park I have ever been to. It is truly deserving of an excellent review. It is absolutely lovely, diverse and beautiful locations, unlike some other national parks it is very close to a wide variety of shops, and has seasons so it is enjoyable any time of year. It is my favorite till now!

We hiked the West Fork Trailhead which was one of the most spectacular hikes we have done with the contrast of towering red rock mountains against the beautiful green forest of trees and the soothing sound of the Oak Creek Canyon waters. This hike stimulated all the senses!

If you have a chance to experience Sedona and the Coconino National Forest - I highly recommend the views, the hiking and the area We usually stay at Sedona Top Notch Home or Sedona Mountain Sunset Home on our visits to the area, Sedona Mountain Sunset Home backs right up to the forest and has so much fun wildlife - the views are just unreal

We love coconino forest. There's so many different kinds of scenery, hi desert, creeks, woodlands, lakes, high mountains, snow drifts, skiing, swimming, camping, quad trails, hiking trails... It's a wonderland.

This particular part of Arizona is a beautiful reminder of what the state has to offer. In one vacation you have the ability to experience everything an outdoors person dreams of. Flagstaff offers amazing mountian views and winter sports. Sedona has its jaw dropping red rock cliffs and hiking trails. Further south by Pine and Strawberry you can experience the beautiful blue waterfalls of Fossil creek and the endless forest offroad trails that lead to that perfect camping spot in the fresh pine trees. The park is very well maintained with smooth scenic highways connecting each adventure.
