Using GPS was an other nightmare. I was finally at an entry area with no usable street parking. I then found the tiny parking lot. The park is very large with many possible entry point for people walking. I walked the entire park and saw almost no one walking on the sidewalks. The amount of land with little or no purpose is a large number of acres. To this person it seems like a waste. I could be totally wrong but this and a lot of other city parks in Maracopa County seem to be set up to keep visitors, noise, polution, decibels, to a minimum. I saw possibly less than a dozen people, half of them, tossing balls for their dogs to fetch. Along with no people was no litter or dog waste. The park has things greatly spread out.The Tennis Courts are near the tiny parking area and we're vacant. Far off is a small and limited playground. The basketball court in another section of the park with limited lighting. It's placement and setting are not encouraging. The long series of side walks have a good obsticles series. A person who preferred sidewalks could enjoy a short to considerably long walk. If the ground is preferred it could also be good for joggers. The park does not appear to have areas where water collects. Not sure why but there is an old modest baseball backstop but nothing set up for playing. The grass is not conducive to a game. The grass is worn in some areas but not from baseball. During my couple of hours visiting the park one car drove in. The visitor walked for 150 feet, drank a can of soda, walked by to car. You would think there might be some quiet sections where some activities might be available. Preserving the peace for the huge neighborhood but giving slightly more to Scottsdale. No restroom or ramadas but many beautiful shade trees. Might consider benches and or picnic tables. If you read, listen to music with earbuds, videos games, consider taking a folding lawn share for some quiet time.

Nice Scottsdale park with pleasant tree coverage and drinking fountains.....but with minimal parking, no restrooms, and the two tennis courts are in need of minor repair.
