Best coffee ever!! That’s it. This place settles the debate for good. What an incredible coffee, absolutely fantabulous. It’s a pure bliss. Never knew instant coffee could be that freaking great until I had it here. Ron is a scientist, knows everything there’s to know about coffee - soil to table & everything in between. What a magician. He knows how to get the best out of coffee. He is an innovator & a teacher. I learnt so much about coffee from him. With Cortez Coffee, you don’t just your daily fix, it’s much more than that. GOAT!! Great beans! Roasted by someone who is honestly passionate about the craft. The customer service is amazing, especially for those who are interested in different perspectives. I look forward to ordering online. Purchasing in person was a breeze but I rather not drive!

I always get my coffee from here! Even though I live about 35mins away, I love that they have a subscription option that gets my fresh coffee delivered to my doorstep. I always have compliments on my coffee when I have guests and I always recommend Cortez! Ron is wonderful and is very knowledgeable, I also had the pleasure of meeting his son who also gave us some great tips on how to select the coffee for our espresso machine! I highly highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

Ray is so knowledgeable in his coffee craft! There is counter service, but it’s more of an *experience* than your run-of-the-mill joe joint. Would highly recommend.

f you're a coffee nerd or you're looking to try new roasts, I highly recommend this place. I stopped in at Cortez Coffee this afternoon expecting to dash in and out, but I got sucked into a long and interesting conversation with Ron, who owns and operates the place. He knows tons about coffee (the science of roasting, the coffee industry, etc.) and is eager to discuss it. He also kept offering me free samples of his roasts, which were all tasty. The white roast was particularly good (and extremely caffeinated). Ron may seem a little intense at first, but he's a very friendly and personable guy with a wide range of interests. I'll definitely be going back, if for no other reason than to say hi and have a chat.
