Daley Park Court

Check this out if looking for a nice outdoor space in walking distance but off-campus. Overall a nice park. Plenty of sports areas with playing fields for volleyball, basketball, and baseball. Also lots of open space and shade for picnics, meetings, or events. There are homeless people but they have never been hostile in my experiences at Daley Park, and will typically move away if someone comes to use a certain area of the park they are in. Very lush landscape, probably due to flood irrigation. There are some overall maintenance issues such as trash. Plenty of parking but could use more bike racks, seeing as it’s off a major bike lane.

I attended a birthday party here under a reserved Ramada. The park has sidewalks all over, making it easy to navigate and accessible. There were covered trash cans for regular and recycling all over, so the park was clean. They had two sand volleyball courts that I saw and a basketball court. There seemed to be three or four ramadas in total. There also seemed to be a baseball field in the opposite side of the parking lot. The picnic benches and tables were clean. The parking situation was extremely crowded due to so many sports games taking place. However, it was a nice atmosphere for a kid’s party. There do seem to be some homeless people in the park regularly based on what I saw and what my friend told me, so maybe bring a sandwich or water bottle to pass along kindness, if you can.

Daley Park is a great spot for outdoor activities! The baseball field is well-maintained, although there are some uneven patches. The park offers plenty of parking, clean fields, and accessible restrooms. Overall, it's a nice place to catch a game or enjoy some fresh air. With a few tweaks to the field, it could be even better!

Good park for day out and 2 big base ball ground, 1 basket court, children play area, big lawn, etc. we used to play every weekend and bet less crowds and they maintain the restrooms well

Such a nice place. I love how wide open it is and it also is a very good place for childrens to roam around. They have a children park inside, where they have plenty of small rides. The breeze at night is very refreshing and view is gorgeous in real.
