DC Ranch Village Courts Opens 6/1/2023

I love The Village at DC Ranch. Love the fact they are spending money to improve the experience of the members. The addition of the 12 outdoor lighted pickleball courts has been incredible. The pickleball clinics and leagues keeps us having fun every day (and night) of the week! Lots of variety, something for everyone. The upgrades they have made to the main facility are great and knowing they are continuing to make enhancements to the cardio area is fantastic.

I have been a member of this club for over 20 years, and for many years it truly was an outstanding facility. Unfortunately, the overall experience has declined significantly. The recent locker room renovation is a prime example. After nine months of construction, the project remains unfinished. While the updated tile work looks attractive, the new showers are a noticeable downgrade in functionality. Throughout this process, communication has focused more on external explanations than on accountability or meaningful acknowledgment of the inconvenience to members who continue to fund these projects through rising dues. Yes, it is a privilege here to pay more for less! Ongoing issues such as recurring sewer odors in the reception area, intermittent power outages (including disruptions during rain last summer), and the loss of several excellent class instructors have further impacted the experience. I want to be clear that this feedback is not directed at the hardworking staff who maintain the facility daily. Those who keep the club clean, removing dirty washcloths and razors left in the showers by inconsiderate members, deserve appreciation and respect. My concern is with leadership and decision-making at the organizational level. I contacted them before writing this review hoping they would humbly accept responsibility. All I received were soundbites & excuses. So, if they respond to this post, saying ‘we are sorry to hear…blah blah….’ please take it with a pound of salt. After two decades of membership, I sincerely hope some new owners will come and take over the club, installing professional people who can refocus on quality, accountability, and member experience.

I want to start out by saying I have been a member of the DC ranch Village health club for 20 years. I know one would be hard pressed to find a similar facility that offers the sheer number of amenities/activities in an environment that more closely resembles a country club then anything else . Staff always go the extra mile to provide assistance(i.e. help in signing out bikes, rackets, swim training aids). The latest endeavor has been a complete multimillion dollar overhaul on the locker rooms(stunning). Where else can you go and enjoy an infrared sauna, cold plunge, hot tub,steam room, swimming pool,relaxation room all in the comfort of your gym. I don’t care where you are in this country, whether it be Chicago, New York or LA you’re not going to find that. And lastly, most important it’s the people, most of the staff have been around for years and treat you like family. The other clubs around town,hope that you join and never show up, here they try to engage you so that you simply become a member of their village.❤️❤️❤️

The New Smart Relaxation Goggles provided in the mens and womens relaxation rooms are really cool. It put me in a deep relaxation state and almost asleep. Members should do a must try. Very invigorating!

Always the best part of the day geting started and the village. The new remodel of the locker room is sensational, great place to relax, unwind, and cleanup after using their awesome workout facility. Highly recommend.
