Desert Ridge Improv

I was worried with all the previous reviews about the slow service and min 2 drink purchase. The drink are indeed expensive!!! Like Vegas prices, which is ridiculous. I opted for the soft drink “bottomless” soda instead to avoid spending so much money. It was $18 plus tax and tip. The server came by a couple of times during the show and in total I got 4 soda drinks. The regular cocktails were $18.25 and up and mocktails were $13.25. A lemonade by itself was $6. The show itself was good. I saw Monet exchange. Show was good and vip setting is right at the front of the stage although the seats are very crowded together. They sell food too. The people next to us bought wings and they smelled good. I decided to eat dinner at another place. The first woman comedian before Monet was hilarious! The show was a good atmosphere. I just don’t like the the required minimum two drink purchase for drinks that are super expensive. It would have been almost $50 per person based on those prices plus tax and tip but at least the soda option is there but still think $18 is outrageous.

Guest experience was a 10/10. The 6:00 PM show was fully booked, and seating was limited, but the manager, Lena, personally came out to speak with us and got everything arranged so we could attend the 8:30 PM showing instead. That kind, personal touch truly made our night feel special. On top of all the laughs from the comedians, Chelsea, our server, was an absolute treat. Her attentiveness and friendliness honestly need to be studied and copied. Even with a rocky start, the staff turned the night into one of the best experiences we’ve had. Truly a night to remember.

Fun experience, drinks are good, we mostly had appetizers which hit the spot. Food is average, but paired with a few drinks, and good company, it tastes better ;) We were seated near the back table, but the act was easy to see and hear. Wait staff are incredible and helpful! Definitely going again.

Comedian was funny. Host was new and nice. Drinks were strong which can be good or bad. 🤷🏽‍♀️ A Man hit his head on the bar in the dark right when the main set was taking place.. we missed a majority of the set as we wanted to make sure man was okay as its distracting.. he ended up having a seizure. Staff didnt bother getting out a flashlight and or turning the lights on by the bar to help the man. Staff wiped throw up off him had him sit up and eventually got him up and escorted him out. My concern is they didnt call medical services as we pay taxes for things like this. The man hit his head on the bar... I'm not sure if he was inebriated but regardless his saftey should be considered. I hope he didnt suffwr a concussion and or pass in his sleep we'll never know.. I just find it very unprofessional and not very family friendly. Skip towards billing I wasn't able to drink my drink because of how strong it was, by the time the food came out the man's odor from the accident is so strong were no longer interested in even the thought of having a drink or eating.. I get this was out of the clubs control to a certain degree. They could've cleaned the mess, they could've offered to move us, the could've just offered us to come back another time.. instead when talking to the Manager and explaining we'd like to be comped for the drinks and food as we didnt even make it through 1/4 of the drink or a touch of the food because of the disturbances happening.. she gave me a stank attitude and said, "So YoU'Re N0t GoNna pAy Y0uR Bill" all sideways.. and well with that attitude acting and saying you did your best you could when theres piles of paper towels with throw up still on the floor and chunks.. it just came across as very unprofessional. If that were my friend or family I'd want at least a flashlight on, a medic to view them before allowing them to leave God forbid they got behind a wheel... Let's just say this was the 1st time visiting and may be my last as it left a bad taste in my mouth. If youre a manager you should be present during any and all major incidents and take ownership and or take charge of the situation with your best foot forward.. but belitting a guest because of your own incompetence is pretty crazy. Clean up someone's throw up next time and make sure to order a cleaning solution and flashlight and maybe beware of how dark and hazardous lighting may play when offering alcohol and having people move around.. idk a lot of bitching on my end but I woul d not have even posted this is the manager wasn't being so tacky. THIS IS THE "MESS" THEY CLEANED UP AND THAT COULDNT BE HELPED AND OUT OF HER HANDS... They left that there the remaining till end of show and everyone finally got to smell and walk past. 🙄 TACKY & IRRESPONSIBLE to leave a bio hazard like that.. if you had proper training youd know and handle it like a real boss. Thats not right. None of what took place with that incident not even my situation was right.

I thought this place was alright! We arrived at 5:20pm for a 6pm show. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server who took our drink order. Yes drinks are overpriced but name a place with a drink minimum that isn't. We got our drinks pretty quick despite what some of the reviews here say. Our server was attentive and we never felt like we were forgotten. The seating is kinda funky but other than that this is an alright venue!
