Discount Tire - Glendale

Super big shout out to the service personnel who came out to my friends pop-up "sidewalk" sale today. She was so very gracious and kind. Politely and respectfully allowing us to continue the sale for the rest of the day. It was an error on part not checking with them first. If this is the kind of customer service they offer, I'm sold. I just had new tires installed on my car in Sep, but when I need service in the future, this is where I would go.

I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado. Matt and Luis helped me pick out the right tire and the right rims For my Project truck! Without their help, my truck would’ve looked terrible. Thank you! This location is very professional, and very helpful.

I’ve used Discount Tire for almost 20 years throughout various locations in different states and have always received excellent service, and this location is no different. I had a bad flat on my Tesla and fortunately I was near this location when it happened. I had to replace all four tires. They didn’t have the Michelin tires I want in stock at their location, so they had them delivered from a Scottsdale location that same day. They were installed quickly and efficiently. No scratches on my wheels. Nice waiting room where I was able to get some work done on my laptop. Great customer service, thank you.

ʕ•́ᴥ•ʔっ The youngin that just helped us at the tent was amazing. We just hit a curb and damaged the tire but he was pleasant, calm, confident and explained everything so well. I honestly didn’t know what to expect and he took care of us very well , leaving us feeling relieved and knew what to do next. Didn’t have to spend a penny and so glad we chose them. I normally don’t write reviews but my experience was so bad that I had to. I wanted to get my tire patched but before the technicians saw my tire they said that I needed to buy a new tire. I expressed that I needed to get to work and would prefer to have my spare put on. To this they said that it was a serious hazard, despite even looking at my spare which was a brand new tire that I had bought from my usual Discount Tire. I told them that I just needed to get my spare on so I could get to work. They started to become visibly upset and asked me “Do you have a husband or boyfriend that you could call that would know more than you?” I then told them that I handle my own car and the response I got was “Are you saying that you wear the pants in the relationship?” I then asked for a third time if they could please just put my spare on and the manger continued to lie to me saying that it’s against their policy and it was such a big deal that he needed to get permission from someone higher up. I told them that if it was that big of an issue that I could just change my own tire in the parking lot. The manger was more visibly upset and said “Fine, just but the spare on and get it over with”. At this point I was actually scared that they might do something to my tires. I called my usual Discount Tire and explained the whole situation. They also felt that this was not the Discount Tire way and it was never against their policy to put a spare on if it is within the same size as the other tires. I just want everyone to be aware of the customer service at this location. Having a flat tire is already stressful and it shouldn’t be made worse by misogynistic comments and fear mongers.
