Truly a dream stay. We spent a long weekend here in September. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful with casitas literally built into the landscape. The pools are amazing with delicious drink and food service. We spent our days soaking up as much of the pool scene as possible. Our suite was extremely well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. I had the best sleep I’ve had in a hotel here. We cannot wait to return in May. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat, this is it!!

My stay at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive in a way that felt genuinely personal. The property itself is stunning — beautifully designed with desert-inspired architecture, peaceful pathways, and breathtaking mountain views that make the entire stay feel like a retreat. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The multiple heated , and 24 hours pools were relaxing, never too crowded, and perfectly maintained. Food and drinks at the resort were excellent, with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors that highlight the best of the Southwest. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and went above and beyond to make the experience special. Whether it was dining, housekeeping, or the spa, the service was consistently top-tier. There is a beautiful hiking trail next to the resort as well. If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and memorable getaway, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is absolutely worth it. I can’t wait to return!

Our stay at The Four Seasons for my birthday celebration exceeded expectations. We booked through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts portal, and we were immediately greeted with early check-in and a room upgrade. The grounds and casitas were both quiet and secluded, and we loved how easy it was to walk between the main lobby/restaurants and casitas. We spoke with directors Haley and Angie during our stay, who were both incredibly welcoming and gifted us birthday amenities. They made our stay even more special and will be one of the reasons we stay at The Four Seasons again. My manicure with Stacy at the spa exceeded expectations; I can’t wait to visit her for my next manicure. From check in to check out, we enjoyed every minute of our stay and are looking forward to returning.

All good—truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and effortless. The desert setting is stunning, the casitas are spacious and beautifully appointed, and the entire property feels peaceful yet polished. The pool and spa are top-tier, and dining (especially Talavera) was excellent. A perfect blend of luxury and relaxation—we’d absolutely return and highly recommend.

Overall, our stay was disappointing. We knew the resort was isolated, with nothing walkable nearby, but assumed there would be things to do at the resort other than sit at the pool or play golf. Our bad. Some landscaping and grounds improvements would go a long way in making the property more interesting to walk around and enjoy. But the most serious issue was our room having no air conditioning on the first day, despite 100° Scottsdale heat. It took several complaints before the issue was addressed, and then after being told we’d receive a text massage upon completion, we sat in the lobby for an hour waiting for word on whether the AC was fixed or if we needed to move rooms. No one ever followed up. We later learned that engineering had not communicated with the front desk, so our wait was unnecessary. The front desk manager did offer a late checkout, but given that we only managed two hours of sleep that night, it felt like an underwhelming resolution. For a property at this price point, many of the expected basics were missing. There was no welcome drink, no small touches like cookies or treats in the room, no luggage assistance, no help finding our room, keys that didn’t open the ice machine room and no turndown service. The resort layout itself is confusing and not especially attractive, with plain, identical guest room buildings scattered across the property and not numbered. The dining experiences were also uneven. The restaurants were just adequate, and we were glad to move on rather than return for another meal. At the Onyx lounge, we noticed other guests receiving amuse-bouches before they even ordered drinks. We received nothing; not even a cocktail napkin or coaster. We were offered a water bowl for our dogs, and we accepted; however, the water bowl never arrived for them. We were forced to give them water from our own water glasses. These inconsistencies made the service feel careless. While most of the staff we interacted with were pleasant, the overall experience fell far short of what we expected. Having stayed at many high-end hotels, this was our first Four Seasons stay. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would be hard-pressed to ever consider another.
