Awesome Experience at Gecko Climbing Gym! We had such a great time at Gecko Climbing Gym! The space is clean, well-maintained, and full of great energy. Even as someone who doesn’t know a lot about climbing, I felt totally welcomed and supported. One of the highlights of our visit was how kind and encouraging the staff were. A team member spent time belaying my kids multiple times and made them feel so confident and excited. That kind of personal attention made a big impression. It’s clear that Gecko is community-driven—they’ve created an atmosphere where everyone feels included, whether you’re just starting out or more experienced. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff are all super friendly & helpful. They are always adding new routes to keep it interesting & challenging. We love the homeschool team.

No hard feelings on the previous 1 star, just wanted to ensure my message was received. Please note the focus of my message is on the upstairs facility and bathrooms, and also please note I truly do look forward to coming back here. Your teams efforts deserve a 5 star review and I look forward to being a part of the membership. 1 Star — Hoping to See Improvements Regarding CLEANLINESS I really want to love this gym. For the size of the facility, they’ve done an amazing job with the routes, the equipment, the hours, and the staff — all of that is genuinely 5‑star. I’ve only been in the area for about two months, so I’m not sure if things have changed over the life of the gym, but based on what I’ve seen so far, the lack of cleanliness is the one thing that consistently stands out. It’s very clear that regular cleaning doesn’t take place. Compared to the many climbing gyms I’ve visited around the country, this is by far the worst kept in terms of basic upkeep. Floors, mats, bathrooms, and common areas often look like they haven’t been maintained, which is disappointing because the potential here is huge. I’m leaving this review not to be negative, but in hopes that it leads to real improvements. I’m a local and more than happy to talk about this in person. Even hiring a cleaning crew once a week — or even once a month — would make a noticeable difference. I’ll gladly update this review the moment I see changes. I’d love to become a member, but right now the lack of cleanliness is the only thing holding me back.

Went here for the first time yesterday to put my son in a summer camp. My daughter wanted to do it too, but she has a serious illness that prevented us from enrolling her. The staff were SUPER accommodating and let her "shadow" brother's camp as much as she was able. It was an incredible day for our family and we're so grateful! We were impressed with the number of different climbing areas, layout of the facility, orientation for noobs, quality of instruction, and organization of the kids camps. Very family friendly. Totally recommend this place!

Friendly gym. Weird route setting thing where they have a uniform style for a climb but end each one with an awkward or reachy move uncharacteristic of the rest of the climb. Lots of self belayers was fun so I could climb beside my friend and get more climbing in. Also, they have gri gris on every rope so you don’t have to bring your own. Also, they could possibly benefit from a consensus grading system where people vote on the grade of each new climb before it has been chosen. Might make the grades more accurate as some felt harder and others easier even within the same climbing styles.
