So much to do here its hard to listen it all. Such an amazing little old town with astounding history that dates back to the 1800s. From live entertainment with gunfights in the streets of goldfield to laking old timey photos and ice cream with the kids. This place is a fun adventure for all to experience. For anyone in the Phoenix and surrounding areas id highly recommend you give this place a visit for yourselves.

This was the best ghost town that I've ever experienced. The shootout was okay. The Pony Express was nice to see. A lot of nice shops. Especially the cactus shop. That shop is a must-see. In addition to having cactus for sale already planted, or for you to purchase to plant, and kits for you to make your own, and it also has other decor of the desert.

Absolutely enjoyed going and visiting this place. They had lots of authentic equipment and a lot of small things that you can do but it definitely makes for a whole day trip if you want to spend the time panning for gold. I definitely enjoyed doing that and I probably a couple hours doing it. Going into the mine and having some understanding of what they do there was also quite enlightening. And then they have a small train ride and they give some basic understanding of the area and the mining activities that went on there. Oh yeah and they have a great story about the unknown miner and why he's buried there under a big old rock.

Goldfield Ghost Town was a great stop on our trip to AZ. I was impressed that there is no admission fee ($10 fee if you opt for train ride/history talk). We frequented every building, if the walls could talk, I'm sure we'd have heard many stories. The landscape around Goldtown was beautiful, the town itself is small and full of artwork, souvenir shops, a great hat shop, coffee cafe, jewelry & gems, a small museum w/ entry fee. The saloon was quite busy serving up lunch & cocktails (try their cactus pear margarita) and had live music. On the weekends you can watch an old town shoot out. I definitely recommend stopping to take in the beauty of Apache Junction and this historical town.

Cute little ghost town. We took the train ride, went on the mine tour, and went to the house of illusions. There is a steak house (prices from $35 - 50). There is also a hamburger/hot dog/chicken/fry place. Prices about $15. We did not eat at either of these locations. They also have ice cream place. A little pricey. If you have the time, drive up to Tortilla Flats. They have really good gelato! Fun place. We spent about 3 1/2 hours there.
