Absolutely breathtaking views and awe inspiring. Would highly recommend going to the Grand Canyon South Rim. The crowds were not that bad in September and the weather was perfect. Saw a lot of wildlife including elk big, horn sheep, deer and many birds. The trail of time is a great walk and educational. A must see. If your camping or staying In a van Kaibab National Forest is minutes away and free to stay for 14 days its BLM land and a great place to visit as well.

Incredible, stunning views. My family of 6 hiked the South Kaibab trail to Ooh Aah point. The views were spectacular! Loved the panoramic window in geologic museum. My kids loved completing the junior ranger packets and earning their junior ranger badges. Lot of fun souvenirs in the gift shops.

I've seen a lot of beautiful places in my 50 years around the Sun and nothing on this Earth is like this truly magical and majestic place. All words are rendered pathetic and enempt to try to explain how beautiful, moving, profound it is or how important it is for every human to come to this place at least once; you just won't understand until you are there. All the facilities, stores, ect. In the park are fantastic. The campgrounds were beautiful and well maintained- very affordable if you can get a reservation (or go in the off-season). Start saving some money right now and plan to go here within a year. I mean it. Don't put it off like I did. Can't wait to return, soon!

A Serene, Breathtaking Way to Experience the Canyon The North Rim offers a completely different Grand Canyon experience — higher elevation, cooler temperatures, and far fewer people. The viewpoints are stunning, and the sense of scale and depth is overwhelming in the best way. The drive in is beautiful, the overlooks are well spaced, and the trails are peaceful and well maintained. Perfect for hiking, photography, and quiet reflection. Tips: • Open seasonally (usually mid-May to mid-October) • Bring layers — weather can change quickly • Sunrise and sunset here are next level • Gas up before arriving — services are limited If you want the Grand Canyon without crowds, this is the place.

Must see this place with your own eyes. Had a great day walking along the south rim trail. Check weather for this place before you get there. I only checked Phoenix temperatures and it was a big difference! Had breakfast at El Tovar and it was delicious.
