The views were amazing. It was very busy, people constantly moving in and out of spaces for pictures. First time visiting I will surely come back. After I visit the other rims of course 🥰

A Serene, Breathtaking Way to Experience the Canyon The North Rim offers a completely different Grand Canyon experience — higher elevation, cooler temperatures, and far fewer people. The viewpoints are stunning, and the sense of scale and depth is overwhelming in the best way. The drive in is beautiful, the overlooks are well spaced, and the trails are peaceful and well maintained. Perfect for hiking, photography, and quiet reflection. Tips: • Open seasonally (usually mid-May to mid-October) • Bring layers — weather can change quickly • Sunrise and sunset here are next level • Gas up before arriving — services are limited If you want the Grand Canyon without crowds, this is the place.

We visited in late September, and it was the best time to go there (we are told). Weather was amazing (clear skies, temperate climate and the crowds were sparse'ish). We took an organised tour from Vegas - an early start at 5:30am, weird pick up time and place - long drive to the South Rim , with three stops for food / restrooms along the way (including a stop by a quaint shop on Route 66). Quick view of the Hoover Dam on the way and back (did not stop). The Grand Canyon... its all been said before so all I can say is just go and see it for yourself. Simply Vast and majestic. The amenities, trails etc are all very well laid out and easy to follow. Lots of spots to stop and take pics. The place is huge to walk around so you need time. Nice shops to look around at the Village once you reach there (though the prices are ...pricey! to be expected.) . Do make sure you do some trails to feel the atmosphere. I would have preferred to drive there myself but the tour guide provided a good overview.

Always worth the visit ✨🍬🥳🎉 I’ve been during hot days and during winter time - make sure to monitor for gusty winds and wear layers! - The views and the drive and the canyon and the whole experience is great! - Military and seniors get huge discount and a card for all national parks in the country!

Awe-inspiring, breath taking views!! Words and photos don't quite capture the splendor and beauty! Wonderful drive with views from stopping points or hike along the South rim trail. So much to see and do. Would recommend charting where you want to go if you only have 1 day as some places can only be seen by taking the shuttle busses. Restrooms are plentiful throughout the park. Cost $30 for passenger car and 7 day entry pass.
