I’ve been looking for a new dentist for about 1.5 years now and found Highland Dental through my new insurance. Everyone there was so wonderful! From the moment I walked in and checked in the front desk & Oscar (hope that was his name!) He was so kind & friendly! To my dental hygienist Billie, who was just lovely and very thorough! Dr. Razz was also very friendly and honest about everything! I’ve had a lot of trouble finding someone who wasn’t just trying to get the most out of me! I’m very excited to continue here!

From the moment I walked in as a new patient, the team was professional, transparent, and respectful. Dr. Razzaq took her time with my exam, explained my periodontal charting clearly, and showed me exactly what she was seeing on the X-rays. What impressed me most was how thorough and ethical the whole process felt. They reviewed my insurance benefits upfront, broke down all my options, and even told me what was not necessary right now. You don’t get that level of honesty everywhere. I ended up needing a deep cleaning (which I knew was coming, based on my previous dentist of years) and the hygienist did an outstanding job. The results were night and day. The follow-up care and communication were excellent too. The office is clean, modern, and organized, and the staff especially at the front has been nothing but polite and helpful every time I’ve come in. I genuinely feel like they care about long-term dental health, not quick transactions. If you’re looking for a trustworthy dentist in Phoenix, this is the place. I’m grateful I found Highland Dental Studio and I highly recommend Dr. Razzaq and her team.

I had an amazing visit at Highland Dental! Dr. Razzaq was extremely professional and friendly. She explained everything so well and was very attentive. Prince was also amazing and very helpful. Maya did an amazing job on my cleaning. Overall, it was a spectacular visit.

IMPORTANT. A MUST READ REVIEW: I would like to share my experience with the practice. I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning, nothing more. Dr. Razzaq conducted the periodontal charting/gum probing. Upon completing, I was immediately escorted to another room with a desk an 2 chairs. I immediately knew I was going to be upsold a deep cleaning procedure. I declined the the deep cleaning and in doing so, I was declined a standard dental cleaning. I confirmed the decline with Oscar, the office manager, who is responsible for the upselling of the additional services. He simply would not allow me to move forward with the cleaning I originally had scheduled my appointment. As a brand new patient to this practice, you can imagine I was blind sided with the upsell and the lack of performing services I originally scheduled unless I agreed to the deep cleaning first. Luckily, I did my homework with my insurance company, asked the insurance company to call the practice and confirm I would be covered for the basic cleaning. The insurance company confirmed my service request. It was this practice that would not provide the services. Consider this review a warning if you are planning on scheduling an appointment as a new patient here. In my opinion, this is a violation of industry ethics and standards. Do your homework, ask your questions, and say no to any extra services you may be ""pressured" into purchasing so you can complete your appointment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE.

I have been going to Highland Dental for over a year now and just had to get a couple of fillings. It was the best experience with getting fillings I have had before. There was no pain or discomfort during the fillings, and since getting them I also have had no lingering pain or sensitivity. This is different from when I have gotten fillings elsewhere in the past. Dr Razzaq did such a great job and her team and staff are all very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful.
