Harkins Arizona Mills 18 w/ IMAX

My experience wasn't too bad; I just wish everything was all in one area. You cannot take your alcoholic beverages into the IMAX theater. Also, the fact that the seats did not recline is a bummer, especially since you are watching a three-hour-long movie. Such a bummer, but I will say I did enjoy my movie.

The new IMAX remodel is amazing. So comfortable. Leather seats. New screen. New projector. One of 10 in the world that can project 70MM film. Very happy

Pretty good little theater. Not much to say about it. Employees help you out and are really nice to you. But food portions of the theater are still the Classic expensive popcorn candy and drinks. I would advise eating before coming or easily sneaking in some quesadillas

Went to see Anaconda and noticed the screen was flickering. Notified the managers and they said “Yeah we know about it and submitted a ticket. There’s nothing we can do. It’s happening on another screen as well” They said they could arrange a popcorn voucher and we were welcome to get a refund as long as we didn’t finish the movie, but I’m surprised they didn’t remove the showing until the problem was fixed or at least let us know in advance before we bought snacks and got settled. Staff was otherwise helpful and the place was clean.

Terrible theatre and terrible management. Went here on 11/23/25 to see Wicked For Good at 2:50 PM. Family in front of me in Row F allowed their kid to jump around, do jumping jacks, jump on empty seats and kid kept talking and making noises. My daughter went to bathroom and complained. What was their response? I'll tell you a worker came in for 10 secs enough time to walk all the way up to back row and back down and left. Kid was laying on her mom at that time. Didn't even bother to hang around for a few minutes to see if it continues. No less than 5 minutes after the worker left the kid was back at it. I got up to seek a manager. I found a female manager and told her about the experience as well as my daughter complained. I found out it was her who came in. She said she would come in again and if she doesn't see someone do it there is nothing they can do. Yeah you are not going to see anything if you spend 10 secs in the theatre. I asked for a refund for my bad experience. I got told she could give me a refund but I would have to leave immediately. What kind of service is this? Poor customer service skills from this manager. Unless it's company policy to give the customer a bad experience. I left AMC with over 5 years of A list and this is the first experience I got at Harkins. Did she come in yes she did. Spent maybe 5 minutes and said something to the kid but didn't address it to the kids parents. The activity continued for the rest of the movie. I'll give regal a try as Harkins just dropped the ball on making any of this right.
