Harkins Tucson Spectrum 18

After seven movies, we have decided that Harkins Tucson Spectrum 18 is good place to stop in and watch a movie. There is plenty of parking out in front. The curb appeal of the theater is pleasant. Once inside, the lobby area is comfortably cooled, it is clean, and it is very spacious. We have been there at 11am when its easy to move around and we have been there on a Friday night when it is busy. No matter the the day or time, the staff is courteous and friendly. They step up and make the movie-going experience pleasant. For the adults, there is a bar in the lobby. Every once in a while (?) they will have a special cocktail--another pleasant experience. The individual theaters are well lit upon entering and they are clean. The seating is comfortable, especially the reclining seats. If you like popcorn, then be sure to consider buying the BIG bag to take home.

Typical theater fresh popcorn and overpriced snacks and drinks I guess the gotta make money somewhere. Theaters are always clean and comfortable, and the staff is usually pretty friendly. I didn't care for the scolding I received from the manager about buying my tickets inside rather than outside because my elderly father in law needed to come inside to sit on a bench after hiking from the car to the theater. All in all still a good places to catch a matinee.

Beautiful movie theater with a great number of concessions, including full meals. They also have a bar in the lobby and available babysitting. The theaters are new and very well kept with large, comfortable, reclining seats. Definitely one of the best movie theater experiences we have had!

ZERO STARS We took our kids to go see the new Zootopia 2 Tonight at Harkins. The initial staff interaction was fine and the movie was great. We were a party of 4 and purchased multiple bags of popcorn, drinks and snacks. One of the popcorn was an extra large that comes with a free refill. I approached the counter and asked for a refill, I was asked for my phone number to confirm purchase, I provided our phone number and was advised the purchase was not registered. I was disappointed that 1, I was being called a liar, 2 I was being called a garbage picker and 3, the sheer lack of customer service. I expressed my dissatisfaction and advised all I am asking for, is what I paid for. A supervisor was involved and he flat our rejected to refill the popcorn as there was not proof of transaction with a phone number. I explained I purchased the bag no more than 2 hours prior as that was the length of the movie and advised we spent over $100.00 on a movie and they are refusing to give me something that cost them cents. I requested the manager. The manager advised they require this purchase to be verified as people walt in with bags or pick bags and just get a refill. I was ONCE AGAIN called a liar, garbage picker and now possibly a thief and had someone with authority that lacked any customer service skills. No sympathy, no empathy and no sense of understanding. After what seemed to be an eternity (15 minutes), the manager explained she will override the system, I explained it should not have taken this long nor should they have treated us like this. I would love a refund for the 2026 cups I purchased as I do not plan on going back anytime soon. There are plenty of other options that do offer customer service and they actually give you what you purchased. -ZERO STARS!-

Went to see the Monday mystery movie. It was fun. Popcorn was super fresh. Had a problem scanning our QR code for our gift card so took a bit longer than planned but the cashier was great.
