Harter Park

Beautiful park for exercises, meditation, family time, various sports, walking with pets !!!

Nice and quiet park. Never overly crowded. My 4 year old loves coming here. We like that there's no sand to deal with inside shoes. Nice big greenbelt for dogs to run around and basketball courts that seem to be busier in the evening.

I love how the Park has changed since hanging out their as a kid. My Mom and other people use it as a way for their fur babies to socialize and all the dogs are very friendly. I plan on bringing my pooch by only because she is dog and people friendly like the the rest.

Harter park is very close to my house so I walk my dogs there all the time. Many people do walk their dogs at this park, unfortunately many of them dont bother picking up after their dogs so the park is full of poop. The play area of the park was remodeled last year and it is a nice area for the kids. There is a volleyball court and basketball court as well. There's a small baseball diamond on the far southwest side. The park is situated right next to a green belt which kind of extends the park and makes it look larger than it is.

Nice, clean, and friendly neighborhood park. Beware of occasional dog poos by the grass though... Folks, please pick up after your pets, there are even bags supplied by the sidewalk on Harrison St.
