We all know that doctors are not always the most friendly professionals, but Dr. Darrell Ray is easily in my top 10 worst experiences with a medical professional. As a former medical student (and honestly glad I left that path), I was shocked by the complete lack of empathy and patience. There was no real effort to understand my situation or investigate what was happening. I don’t come to the ER for a walk, I come because I am in significant pain. That is exactly what the ER is for. BUT 10/10 for the medical assistant receptionist and the nurse who took care of me, all extremely attentive, polite, and professional. They truly deserve recognition and a salary like a doctor.

Was advised to take my toddler daughter to the emergency room by Urgent care if her oxygen levels dropped or her lips turned blue and she was struggling to breathe. What a regretful decision this was: $1100 out of pocket AFTER insurance only for them to give her large doses of advil and tylenol and "monitor" her for 20 minutes. My first time to an emergency room and i would unfortunately think twice about it in the future.

This is a stand-alone, fully functioning emergency room in the Honor Health network. This ER is the same ER you would find at a hospital without a hospital attached. Therefore, doctors and nurses take as much time with patients as needed. Unfortunately I have been there twice in one week. Each time, they gave quality care, with professionalism and compassion. And each time there was no wait to be seen.

I want to express my appreciation to Mountain Vista Medical Center/Stewart Emergency Center for the care I received during my recent visit. The patient care was very good, fast, and thorough. After my appointment, I had a few additional questions and decided to call back. The nurse I spoke with was kind and helpful and provided me with the necessary information and even offered a recommendation that I could follow up on. I was impressed by how quickly I was seen and treated. Overall, I am very happy with the experience and the attentive service provided. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of prompt and comprehensive care.

The nurse and the girl at the desk was very nice and caring. The dr comes in and talk to me for like 5 mins I literally tell him about my previous issues and now there is clearly reason to proceed further with some testing. My main complaint was my stomach being so bloated and me having sharp stabbing pains by my liver I also told him about how the previous scan showed I have something in my liver but they couldn’t determine what it was without imaging. He asks me about my meds so I tell him and he goes on to tell me my lyrica is messing up my stomach but then turns around and puts me on FOUR more medication’s, then sends me home, no labs no testing he told me if he were to order any imaging on me he would be committing FRAUD, WHAT??? Ya I have been to many hospitals, Dr appointments, etc and he was another one of those Drs that fill you up with more pills and send you home. This was my first time going there and more than likely my last. I’m gonna take my care with banner instead. Reason I gave a three star is because of the nurse and the girl at the front. We’re very nice. So that’s why they got a three star but as for the doctor if I had to reach him by myself, it would be a One star. The time and date I was There Was June 13 around 10 AM.
