HonorHealth Urgent Care - Peoria (67th Avenue)

I just moved from Louisiana, had to find an Urgent Care! It was absolutely amazing as I was taken care of pretty much immediately! They explained exactly what they were needing to do and did great! They literally listened to me about my medical issues! I will be going there rather than an emergency room, as I was advised, due to breathing issues! I worked and retired from a large hospital, frankly, I didn’t want to sit in an ER!

I went to this location because i read they had an xray machine. I was very apprehensive in going only because urgent care facilities are notorious for bad service and long waits. From when I arrived to when I left, it was an about 2 hours so that’s not awful. The receptionists she would wave at me if they called me because I wanted to sit in the car. Everyone from the doctor to the nurse to the xray technician was professional and moved at a good speed. It was all very efficient once I was seen. My meds were called in and ready by the time I drove by the pharmacy. My symptoms did not improve the way I thought they should and I called the urgent the next day and got someone on the phone and within 10 minutes someone was calling me back giving me an update on my labs and new meds were called in based on the lab results. My experience at this location was stellar and has made me rethink my opinions of urgent cares

I used the “save a spot” option but went in earlier in case I could be seen sooner. The office was clean, quiet, and the front office staff was friendly. The RN got me in quickly and was very engaging. The doctor came right in, listened to me, asked thorough questions, and developed a treatment plan to relieve my symptoms. I actually got sleep that night and I could just hug the doctor. I should have gone in sooner!

This new HH Urgent Care location was Great! Went in feeling like The Walking Dead, they quickly took test to narrow down an upper respiratory infection. From front office coordinator, MA, radiology tech, to PA - Great communication!

Service the day of was ok. However there was an issue with the meds I was prescribed. Called in at 7am, was told the provider would call me back. Called again at noon, again at 3, again at 5:30. Was told by person at front desk, keep using the meds, don’t call back. Call was never returned by provider. Now I’m off to the ER. Update, they could care less that I couldn’t hear out of my ear, but contacted me right away about the bad review. Where is the priority here?
