HonorHealth Urgent Care - Tempe (Mill Avenue)

We were here from out of town, and after calling 3 other urgent care cares for an X-ray, they got us in right away. We had a great experience with all of the personnel- they were all very kind and knowledgeable. I felt like we were in and out of there fairly quickly. I also appreciate that they had crutches and a boot there for us, so we don’t have to make a trip somewhere else. I was impressed!

I recently chose HonorHealth near my workplace because I needed a new primary care doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing was very disappointing. My first visit—less than 20 minutes—was billed at $347 simply because I was a new patient. During that appointment, they referred me to another office for weight‑loss services. That office then charged $695 for their new‑patient visit, which took about 30 minutes. At no point during scheduling did anyone explain the costs, mention additional charges, or warn me that “new patient fees” would be this high. At both appointments, I paid my $50 copay and was told nothing else was due. Only later did I find out I owed nearly $1,000 for less than an hour of total time between two offices. This experience is exactly why many people avoid going to the doctor. It feels like the healthcare system takes advantage of patients with hidden fees and no transparency, and we’re left with the bill and no recourse. Very disappointing

Wonderful experience with friendly, compassionate staff. I came in after a major car accident with pain in my arms, legs, chest, and especially my hip. I didn’t go to the hospital due to cost concerns, but wanted to be checked and possibly get X-rays. The doctor was amazing—very understanding and kind—and the entire staff was professional and supportive. Highly recommend.

I came around 6 o’clock this evening, got checked right in away; the staff was very friendly and polite. Brianna took my vitals and Dr. Ryan saw me, he was very friendly and thorough and very helpful. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Will definitely come to this place again.

Was able to get right in and found a wonderful doctor waiting, Emeka Ibeson, who prescribed just what I needed. It’s great to feel badly and get help very soon from such a competent and gracious person. Many thanks.
