Hyatt Regency Phoenix

If you enjoy cleanliness, city views, with excellent hospitality--- this is it! I experienced truly exceptional service from Madeline at the front desk. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care were unmatched throughout my stay. She went far beyond expectations. When I returned to my room, I was greeted by a beautifully written note and thoughtful gestures that were deeply meaningful and completely unexpected. It truly made my special day even more special. Madeline also facilitated an impeccably smooth and efficient check-in process. Her etiquette was flawless, and she took the time to ensure I was fully comfortable with my room, even after I returned with an additional request. Madeline is the embodiment of what hospitality should be. She represents the very best of the Hyatt brand—grace, excellence, and leadership at the highest level. This young woman clearly has a brilliant career ahead of her, and Hyatt is fortunate to have her. The young lady and gentleman with braids made the cafe experience warm and welcoming every day. This hotel is in a prime location, walkable to restaurants, and local shops.

4 night say mid February. 21st floor is ver quiet. Overall, great. All the employees were pleasant. Can’t get any closer to the convention center. Room was clean. Tub held water properly. Pool was in the sun around noon. I noted the Renaissance next door was never in the sun this time of year. Great to have an attached restaurant and food cafeteria of sorts downstairs. Would stay here again.

I prepaid via a third party for two rooms and was charged at the site even though I told them I prepaid thru booking.com. The rooms were very clean. The shower was exceptional but the coach had a wire sticking out of it which made I very uncomfortable to sleep on. The mattress on the bed should be replaced. That was also uncomfortable.

Seems like LA Regency is creating the 2 star standard for all Hyatt Regencies in the west. Here are the issues encountered- 1. Most serious was security. When I pulled up for the first time could not get valet help since shirtless homeless man was on rampage at the hotel patio bar. They said police came before and just wrote him a ticket. Wow, person with no money is not going to pay that. Instead he came back even more pissed off. 2. Windows like LA Regency were few and dirty. For a corner room was pathetic. I thing they need to get a cleaner, like in Apple TV show Silo, to clean the windows. They will not get killed by poison air, but could be by the crazy shirtless man at the bar. 3. Tvs were mounted too close to wall to attach HDMI for computer video. Thus, did not get my normal network speed reviews done. 4. The small middle room has inadequate lighting. 5. Birds outside in morning are very noisy. 6. Pool is not usable by adults since overload with children diving and splashing everything. 7. Hot Tub was not hot and was just a overloaded kiddy pool and very dirty. 8. Pool desk was muddy and got all over my towel when it barly touch the concrete. 9. No suite upgrade. Since the only reason I was here was to review suites. This was a wasted trip. 10. Finally, when I tried to checkout, I noticed vallet charge even though I am Globalist staying on points. I could not use express checkout since had to go to front desk to fix this. 11. The hotel restaurant compared to other Regencies was in the Market making it the worst I have seen. The only redeeming thing was a good Omelette chef. 12. Ac was not as good as a Hyatt Place or House. Hot and hard to get temperature down. Did overnight after closing curtains. Overall I would not recommend this Regency due to security, lower level of service and billing issues.

You won't be disappointed! We stayed for my daughter's competition and everything is within walking distance. A large selection of restaurants, a grocery store within a 5 minute walk, friendly staff that is super helpful. Room comes with a little mini fridge, a safe, desk and nice wood floors. 10/10 will stay here each time we come to Phoenix.
