Sprawling resort at Gainey Ranch with 2.5-acre water playground, Spa Avania, gondola rides, and Native American learning center.

Average resort hotel. Nicely remodeled but totally generic. Clean enough but the usual bumped up furniture and paint loss in the room. Pools are nice enough but honestly nothing makes them particularly special. For $200-$400 a night, it’s a fine place to stay, as long as you realize they’ll nickel and dime you for everything. It’s not worth paying a premium price for as it’s really just ok. They made several dumb errors for us. Initially they sent us to the wrong room that still had people in it. Then they made an error charging the credit card after I reminded them to make an appropriate correction to the bill. All in all, it’s fine but nothing special.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a friend. Food was excellent! The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service at the restaurants and pool was great. Tons of open chairs and umbrellas. Water slide was fun! Easy to uber around the area. I agree with other reviews that the rooms are loud, bring ear plugs. Self park is $32 a night which seems extreme to me. Room service menu is very limited, and there is a $5 delivery fee. Order door dash instead. Hotel guests have access to some classes at the gym across the street; make sure to ask the concierge about that. There is no hotel shuttle. Over all, I’d def stay here again!

Came to stay with my husband as part of our babymoon. The positives first: the grounds are pretty and service by the adult-only pool was great. The bathroom was nicely updated. But some major negatives impacted our experience. First, it’s not an exaggeration that the walls are paper thin. I could hear someone moving a hanger in their closet next door. The TV requires you to use Google Chromecast to access any streaming apps, which both my husband and I were unsuccessful getting set up. We ultimately gave up and watched off our iPad. The breakfast credit we received is kind of a joke when avocado toast is $25+. Add in coffee each and our morning bill somehow reached nearly $100 each day. Overall disappointing given the high price. Would not stay again.

I am down here for work, so the location is very close to where I need to be. The hotel is beautiful and the room I spacious and clean. I love the sustainability program, so if you opt out of maid service while your there. Great restaurants, I have enjoyed bothe dinner and breakfast at Masa Centrale, thumbs up! They have a 24 hr. Market, so if you need snacks or supplies. Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed for a girls trip/birthday celebration. The resort is clean. David was amazing at check in. The beds were comfy and staff pleasant. We had lots of activities planned and did not get to enjoy all the amenities on-site. [Update- I had to commend Andy at valet. He was so professional and courteous before 5am!!]
