JL Patisserie - Phoenix

The bread and sandwiches are delicious but the service could have been better. When ordering or items, we made a in the moment to switch or dessert flavor and the person picking them out was visually annoyed and made a face. The guy checking us out was great though. He made great coffee recommendations and was very polite. Also the line gets really long so be prepared to wait.

This JL Patisserie in Central had some real nice pastries, we bought 4 stuffed croissants that were real good. The real pistachio filled pastrie was outstanding the ham and cheese was good. The macarons have a high flavor are are outstanding. The other item are to be had later and look real good. The service was outstanding, the only criticism I had was the ordering process is a bit odd unless you know exacly what you want and not walking back and forth from the display to the register. Overall cost was not bad for some real fresh pastries. Simple seating was available inside and out. Update, pumpkin tart was awsome, that hint of pepper in it of what we believe was great. The 🍋 cake was overpowering but awsome.

FINALLY!!! This is the 2nd time we drove all the way from Goodyear, Az to try to taste this incredible bakery food. We were able to make it here around 8am and no line and plenty of selections to chose from (yaaa) and taste what everyone has been raving about and let me tell you….ITS WORTH THE WAIT!! We ordered the ham and cheese croissant warmed and the minute I took a bite, all the amazing flavors swirled in my mouth. The croissant was so flaky and the ham filled the inside with the perfect amount of cheese. We also ordered the Dubai macaroon and the Pan Au Raisin. Haven’t tasted those yet but will enjoy once we get home. Go early and ignore the price..fresh from scratch is worth the cost 🥰 ENJOY we will be back but I wish they would open a location in the West Valley

The first time I came, they had these amazing honey croissants, they were so good! They were amazing! I’ve come three more times and every time they don’t have them…. Also, all four times I’ve come in, the staff 🤦🏽‍♀️ DEFINE HOSPITALITY & then teach it to them. They make me not want to come back at all, but those croissants? They made me make three more trips. They were so good, the girl told me to get the raisin one because it’s the same glaze but I hate raisins lol I tried, it was a lot of work for the same almost flavor, but the raisin flavor is cooked into the bread so not so much…. I won’t be back, one out of four is terrible odds but those honey croissants are amazing. If you come across them you should grab one.

Such delicious French pastries and desserts. You can tell the chefs have put a lot of thoughts and ideas into their desserts. My friend and I two of us went back in line three times within a day because everything we got were so good. My personal fav is the tiramisu cruffin, so tasty with chocolate and crispy croissant and the napoleon. Which is probably the best napoleon I’ve ever had. Def a must try and plz open in more locations!!
