My wife and I dined here a week ago. It was such a great experience. We enjoyed the introduction about the Pima Native Americans before the courses started. The levels of flavors with each course were something that we have never experienced before. It was my first time trying foie gras and it was amazing. We will definitely make a return. Thank you for creating a fantastic date night for us!

Absolutely an incredible meal, just beautiful plate after beautiful plate. All staff was incredibly personable and lovely. Loved the focus on indigenous ingredients and culture. Our server Taylor was a treasure, michelin stars awaiting!

One of the most exceptional dining experiences of my life. Kai delivers an unforgettable, truly immersive Native fine-dining experience. Every part of the meal is intentionally rooted in the land, the culture, and the stories of the O’odham and Piipaash communities. The opening amuse, an oyster with hibiscus foam on red salt, set the tone beautifully. The Pee-Posh Garden was a standout in both flavor and presentation it looked like a miniature rock garden, with pecan “soil” resembling stones and each vegetable prepared individually to look like its own plant or flower. The bread service was another highlight: l’itoi onion (a traditional, local ingredient) gave the bread a subtle green hue and incredible flavor. The venison was perfectly cooked and not gamey at all. It was just stunning. The bison course was deeply flavorful and thoughtfully tied to regional tribal food traditions. Even the elixir served as a palate cleanser, white sage tea, apple cider vinegar, and pink lady apple juice, was one of the most unique things I tasted all night. Dessert was light, earthy, and memorable, especially the sage cream. Of the cocktails, The Sage and Pima Bear were my favorites. The service is truly exceptional. The team explained not just the ingredients and preparation, but the cultural and agricultural connections behind each dish. I asked a lot of questions, and every server was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and engaging. The ambiance was intimate and beautiful and the surprise November thunderstorm outside somehow made the whole evening feel even more special. I also appreciated the sensory towel service infused with Native herbal plants and the thoughtful candle gift at the end. As someone who works in Tribal food sovereignty, I try to support Native-owned and tribally connected food spaces wherever I travel. Kai is one of the highest expressions of that work I’ve ever experienced. Supporting them directly supports Tribal communities and the food, service, and experience are world-class. I would come back any day.

Taylor and Asia took amazing care of us. Everything was phenomenal but my favorites were the pee posh, venison, bison, and the honey dessert. They made our birthday celebration very special. I highly recommend trying this once in a lifetime experience!

I am a foodie and have been to many great restaurants. Kai needs to be added to that list. I live in Old Scottsdale so have been to Atlas and Cafe Monarch and many other top notch places. Went to Kai at Wild Horse Pass Resort tonight. Jeremy and Taylor were our hosts for the night and were both fantastic. Can not say enough about the service and the food but the real winner was the small touches. The pour over coffee, the desert rain smell, dry ice garden, the candle they sent home with us, the personal note thanking us for the night and the special desert for our anniversary. Everything was tip top and fantastic. You will not be disappointed. Will go again.
