We saw Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers last night at La Rosa, and the show itself was fantastic. The band brought the energy, the sound was great, and the crowd was fully into it. Roger and the band know how to connect with an audience, and they delivered an excellent night of music. The venue has a cool vibe and the staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks moved fast, the room felt alive, and everything about the show itself hit the mark. The only downside was the VIP high top tables. We paid a lot to sit there, and unfortunately they were placed in a way that gave us very little view of the stage most of the night. It felt backward. Those tables should be closer to the stage so the people who pay for them, and even the standing crowd behind, can actually see and enjoy the performance better. That said, the music was strong enough to carry the night anyway. With a small adjustment to table placement, this venue could offer an even better experience. We’d absolutely come back. The music venue Tucson deserves!! Such an epic space! The fact that it used to be the chapel or a Benedictine Monastary and is now an acoustically amazing and aesthetically brilliant music venue… makes me so happy. The sound is stunning. The character of the space is brilliant (including the remaining confessional booths if you really still need to get something off your chest), the side bars with excellent drinks and local beers selections, the PEWS if you need to have a sit down. Saw Devotchka last night and they couldn’t have been a better band to introduce us to this absolutely beautiful new treasure of a venue. Hallalur!!! EDIT: PS - The staff was an amazing also! There was a drunk guy in the crowd making everyone around him uncomfortable and before long he got a polite tap on the shoulder from staff and asked him to step aside to talk to them. He didn’t come back so I don’t know what happened but wow did they identity a night-ruining situation for many people and very inconspicuously dealt with the situation. Great job La Rosa!

First visit to La Rosa in January 2026 for a show during the Tucson jazz festival. This venue is great! Sound was awesome All seats were good. Enjoyed the convenience of an outdoor and indoor bar which managed to get everyone served in a timely manner. Will visit La Rosa every chance I get for a show!

What a beautiful venue! It's absolutely gorgeous inside. The sound is amazing, the lighting is terrific and personally I think that's the best use for a church building. Add to the fact it's less than a 5 minutes drive from my house :-) I'm definitely keeping an eye on their calendar for upcoming shows. Good job for the team that made it possible!

A Night to Remember at La Rosa My wife and I went to La Rosa this past Saturday to see Agua de Coco, and the entire experience was incredible. They even kicked off the night with a salsa dance class, which was such a fun touch. The last time I stepped into this building was over 20 years ago when it was still a Catholic monastery, and I was blown away by how beautifully they renovated it. They kept the original structure and soul of the building, but gave the inside a modern, vibrant twist. Multiple bars, great atmosphere — and yes, the “confession bar” is as awesome as it sounds. We had an amazing time. The only downside is the air conditioning; it gets pretty warm in the dance area. I get it — old building, lots of bodies dancing — but hopefully they can revamp it in the future. Still, the night was absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be back, and after following them, it looks like they’ve got events for every type of music coming up. Thank you, La Rosa, for an unforgettable night!
