Lake Havasu Marina

Good lay out with lots of space. Not here on a holiday weekend or event weekend. Slip rental was convenient online and the marina staff was friendly and helpful. Having a slip for the weekend is then pulling the boat every day. Docks seemed well maintained and not run down. Used the fuel station and it also was spacious. Don't come here...lol.

BAD GAS ! BE AWARE! Really bummed on the gas we paid for that ultimately ended up ruining our trip. We arrived Tues with gas from Running Man in Parker. The boat ran great and made it all the way up Topak Gorge and back. All day trip and the boat ran great. No issues. Next day went to fill up at the Havasu city marina where we had a boat slip for the week. Put $150 into the tank. The kids wanted to go to Copper Canyon. Made it there, and as we were leaving the boat started choking. Would start for 10 seconds and then putter out. We eventually floated to the the side where we were getting thrown into the rocks. Feet bruised and cut up pretty bad trying to push off the rocks and protect the boat. Tow service was an hour out and luckily we flagged down another boater who towed us to Riviera. Fortunately we happened to have another fuel filter on board, just not all the tools to make the job easy. Took over and hour as we needed to purchase gas from the marina and borrow their can. Engine started right up and luckily was enough to get us across to the slip. Again the next day we tried to see if it was just a bad fuel filter, but the same thing happened and we had to replace the fuel filter again with new gas. This time we were a little bit more prepared. Again with different gas and a new filter the boat started right up and got us a little ways until the bad gas filled the filter. None the less, we know it was bad gas. Water seeping into their tanks IMO. The kids were pretty bummed not getting to use the boat except for one day on a week long trip. We paid a lot of money for the VRBO, boat slip, food, gas, etc, only to have one tank of gas bring it all down. I recommend you get your gas above ground or at Rivera. Won't be returning to the main marina.

Guys at the gate are always friendly. 6 Lane launch ramp is nice. Not too busy usually but holidays are nuts. Lots of parking for trucks and trailers. $20 weekend and holidays. $10 weekdays.

Convenience, Location, Great Spot to rent a slip. We stayed 5 days and super happy. Ladies in office were great. Store has everything you need and fuel station on water. Great slip no algae issues as I read in other reviews. The guys at the check in/check out weren't helpful or friendly at all. It was our first time so needed a little guidance and direction. We would definitely come back. Thank you guys for running a great place for us to visit.
