I was very wary of booking this hotel, based on some of the reviews on here.. I followed my gut and booked it regardless, and was absolutely blown away by the level of service provided by this hotel. We pulled up and were greeted by the wonderful concierge team, valet parking, immediately handed us an umbrella to shield us from the rain.. went into check in and had an amazing experience with the front desk. The room was absolutely incredible with the best views of the red rocks, I've never seen anything like it, and the views from the room were so great we didn't need to leave.. The bar is right next to a creek and offers outdoor seating, an upscale, cozy experience. There is an onsite free shuttle service where you are able to get a free taxi essentially, anywhere within a 1.5km radius. All staff were amazing, the hotel was amazing, and the service was incredible. We got engaged on the balcony of the hotel, it was incredible. For anyone put off by bad reviews, ignore them. Ultimately the hotel isn't cheap, and so any miniscule minor inconveniences seem to trigger a bad review here. Ignore and enjoy - you won't regret it.

We stayed at L’Auberge for our anniversary weekend and would highly recommend it! After agonizing over which room type to book we ultimately landed on the “Cliffs King Deluxe” room — we’re so glad we did! The room itself was gorgeous, but it was the view that put it over the top. We could enjoy a glass of wine on our patio and enjoy spectacular views of the red rocks. The only caveat I’d give is that to get back down to the main resort you do have to climb several flights of stairs, but they will pick you up in a golf cart if you plan ahead! Amenities at the resort were top notch. We enjoyed using the gym (2 peloton bikes & a rower machine!), getting massages at the spa (honestly one of the best ones I’ve ever had!), and sitting by the pool to read. The only complaint I’d have, about the whole weekend, is that the resort highly recommended their “sister restaurant” 89Agave and it left a lot to be desired. Service & food were not great, and honestly not to the standard I’d think the resort would want to endorse. Skip it and try somewhere else! Overall though, fantastic time!! If you’re looking to splurge on your weekend in Sedona, this is the place!

Overall I was very underwhelmed by this place. It is not cheap and did not have the level of service you would expect at this price point. The restaurant was poorly run with mediocre food and never seemed to have availability. Flow of arrival to check in was middle of the road. Amenities were severely lacking, including a single heated pool and hot tub for the entire resort and a very small gym. This place does have courtesy vehicles available for giving you a lift, but only within 1 mile of the hotel. I did book a treatment at the spa, which was a lovely experience. The rooms in the lodge where we stayed were fairly quiet. The Valet guys were responsive and great. I have nothing against this place, but I have stayed at other locations in Sedona at the same price point and received a MUCH higher level of service.

The room, cabin with a view, has very comfortable beds. The view is second to non. Large picture windows opening up to the red rocks. There was even a telescope provided. Nice large deck to relax outside. Jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower really seal the deal for a 5star experience. The restaurant is excellent. Service across the property is excellent. The activities like yoga and sound bath are led by a yogi who is so inspiring. We loved relaxing by the river after a long hike and watching the ducks.

We were only there for the weekend. Opted for a MUCH higher cost "cottage" (#1). Check in is not until 4 and checkout is at 11 with no exceptions or accomodations. We had a fantastic view of the table celebrating on the patio from the restaurant literally 10 feet from our "private" patio. No privacy, lots of noise and ruckus being SO close to the main building. No dining was available on premise as they had no availability. Overall the creek is beautiful anywhere you go at any resort. The property is BEAUTIFUL. The rest was "okay". Definitely not worth the amount charged. No fires or lights outside for ambience. The one amazing takeaway was the outdoor shower. The only saving grace to an otherwise mediocre and lack luster experience.
