Lees Ferry Fly Fishing

We went fly fishing with Kevin Campbell who has been guiding on the Colorado for 30 years. He is an awesome guide who made the day fun and taught me some new techniques! I would recommend Kevin highly!! Fishing in the Canyon is the most beautiful place I've ever fished!!

Overnight at Cliff Dwellers Lodge was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic (get a half-order of stuffed biscuits and gravy!) Fished with Skip Dixon and we each netted 11!! Overall outstanding experience!

My son and I enjoyed our outing with Kevin. Fishing was slower in the morning, but found it better in the afternoon. We learned a lot about fly fishing and the river. I'd do it again! It's a thrill!

Our room was comfortable. Our guide, Skip Dixon, was absolutely awesome in every way. My GF was a ride along and photographer and he kept her involved the whole time. And for the fishing, he put me on so many fish, we lost count of all the strikes. I missed many, lost a few, but landed 8. Best trip fishing and site seeing ever.

Oh gosh, where do I start? This was our first time scheduling with Lees Ferry Anglers to fly fish with a guide, and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Nat Jensen, made this one of the most memorable and exciting experiences of our lives. The unbelievable amount of knowledge Nat shared with us was invaluable — from technique to timing to reading the water, every bit of it stuck with us. Her reference to “muscle memory” while casting wasn’t just a tip; it became part of the experience. We walked away not only catching fish but gaining confidence and appreciation for the art of fly fishing. We’ll carry everything we learned — and the joy of the day — with us forever.
