Liars Korner Bait and Tackle

Great local bait shop thats been here for years. Friendly local fishing reports. I stop in once a month to check out new stuff and see where the fishing is best. At the time of this posting Alamo Lake for Crappie.

I have been meaning to give a good review for about 3-4 years now!! Between life and the kids I just never gotten to it! I truly have to say this store is a true adult/kids Disneyland stop for fish lovers! Everytime I go in they spoil my kids with something! About 3 plus years ago the elder man/woman that had the store with the new owners give my son who suffered a terrible accident in a razor rollover accident which he thankfully was resuscitated a few times and at the time they told us they were going to have to amputate his arm off thankfully my sons photos were sent around to the nurses to show him it to everyone, a doctor stepped in and said he would come down to try to save his arm. My son was about 10 years old he ended up having to miss about 3 months of school which he took up us fishing everyday with his one arm. He was really struggling and doing physical therapy but he just really was struggling especially mentally and emotionally to get through life and through physical therapy. They made him a deal he complete therapy and they will let him pick out any rod no matter how expensive! They kepted their word!! Thank you guys truly!!!! You got my son through a very hard time in life! My 10 year old now is obsessed with fishing- we go in all the time now!

First time visitor on black friday and there was a very helpful employee who helped me find what I needed in the ocean of baits and tackle. I was very impressed at how much product this store has and how well organized it was. I bought mostly Zoom baits but I'll definitely be back for more soon.
