Little Miss BBQ

This place was absolutely amazing! First of all, the food was incredible. Every kind of meat was cooked to perfection, packed with smoky flavor and a perfect texture. The service was just as impressive. Since it was my first visit, I asked if I could try a little bit of each type of meat, and the staff were so kind and helpful. They gave great suggestions and helped me choose the perfect amount to sample. The dine-in space is small and the line was long, but it was definitely worth the wait. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

I went there after reading Google reviews, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The brisket was incredibly tender and delicious. I could see why customers were constantly coming in – it was truly amazing. And the jalapeño cheddar cheese sausage was really delicious. I'd love to come back again if I have the chance.

Stopped by Little Miss during a work conference while in town from Texas last week! I struggle finding high quality, authentic Texas style BBQ outside of Texas, so I approached this spot with a little bit of skepticism... Walking up, that was quickly set aside as I instantly smelled those familiar scents of top-notch smoked meat! My plate here was similar to what I would order back home so I can give it a good comparison. I ordered brisket, pork belly burnt ends and 1 link each of Jalepeno cheddar sausage and 7007 House sausage for my proteins and the cheese grits and potato salad for my sides. Brisket 3.6/5 - very tender and moist. Flavorful SPG bark and good smoke ring. The slicing was a bit... Weird. Upon ordering, the slices are then trimmed further down seemingly to remove any unpleasant unrendered fat. I've never seen this technique at any bbq spot, especially since it removes parts of the smoke ring which detracted from the visual appeal in my opinion. Best to trim prior and leave as is once cooked. Pork belly burnt ends 4.2/5 - these had a great glaze and were HUGE cubes of smoked pork belly. Would have been a for sure 5/5 had some of the pieces not been a little tough, but I will credit that to it nearly being the end of the day. You can see and taste the rub used here and it carries through even when sauced. Jalepeno cheddar/707 sausage sausage 3/5 - on the drier side of some I've had at other establishments but, again, could be due to being close to end of the day. Not overly spicy, which for me is a subtraction. I can, handle some heat, but I know most like it mild so I'm sure some prefer that. The 707 sausage is pepper-forward and meaty. Again on the drier side, but both links were a good size. Cheese grits 5/5 - ok... These were perfect! Creamy, cheesy, seasoned... Get em! Potato salad 4.6/5 - a VERY good version of their potato salad. The potatoes were cubed and kept slightly undercooked for great texture. Very creamy and great, dill flavor as well. Highly recommend these 2 sides. For dessert I went with the smoked pecan pie (5/5 🔥). Instant favorite! Get one for the ride home with your leftovers. Overall, Little Miss BBQ-University definitely can represent for what true Texas style BBQ stands for. If/when I'm back in town, I would absolutely make another trip (earlier in the day)!

Fantastic! This restaurant only makes a certain amount of food per day, when it’s gone, they lockup and go home. I bought the $100 platter and got to pick multiple items I wanted. That was 3 days of the best BBQ eatin I’ve ever had. Good job Little Miss BBQ :-) Enjoy everybody…

Wow what a fantastic BBQ joint! We tried the burnt ends (my favorite), pork ribs, jalapeno cheddar brat, green chilli burrito, and brisket!! Even liked our side dishes. Service was excellent, even provided samples while we waited in line to order. We sat outside on the covered picnick tables. Our first time but definitely not our last!!
