Los Dos Molinos - Mesa

I was told I needed to try this Mexican food as it was not only spicy, but delicious! The green and red salsa that came with the chips were both very good and SPICY! As were the chips. I had a cheese enchilada with green and it was one of the best I have ever had. You could taste the fresh corn masa. WOW! I also had the Victoria Special 'B' which was listed as spicy: RELLENO DE CARNE ADOVADA BURRO - HATCH GREEN CHILE RELLENO, CARNE ADOVADA, POTATOES, GREEN CHILE & CHEESE WRAPPED IN A FLOUR TORTILLA & SMOTHERED WITH RED & GREEN CHILE It was very spicy, but you could still taste the food! This was excellent and the potatoes were french fries! The last item I ordered was a to go box, LOL!

Great little find! Good chile and salsa was the right amount of heat. You can definitely taste the difference when it comes to homemade chile vs canned, and this here is the real deal! Ground beef enchilada was made with a thick homemade corn tortilla, I haven't had anything quite like it. Shredded beef taco had a spread of refried beans inside which was nice. On the other hand, the rest of the dinner crew wasn't too happy with their meal. Let's just say they couldn't handle the heat.

Being from New Mexico I am always looking for new places that serve NM cusine so when I saw this place I was super excited And then I ate here and was disappointed. Our server wasn't the friendliest I got the stuffed sopapilla which was very different from back home To me it was like a giant chalupa with hardly any meat. I ended up putting it inside the side of regular sopapilla that we ordered on the side The beans taste like the threw in old beans with new beans and the new beans were not full cooked I was really hoping this to be my new NM spot but I will not be coming back

I recently hosted a Hardware Meetup at Los Dos Molinos in Mesa, and it could not have gone better. Christina was fantastic to work with—super helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The event itself was a big success: the atmosphere was perfect for networking, the drinks were great, and we received tons of compliments on the food. Los Dos Molinos is personally my favorite restaurant, and I’m glad it was a hit with everyone in attendance! If you’re looking for a spot that’s welcoming, authentic, and ideal for group events or meetups, Los Dos Molinos is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

My favorite New Mexican food restaurant, and whenever I want something spicey. The enchilada plate with carne adovada Christmas style with the egg is my go to and for many others as well. Margaritas are great and very large.
