First visit — and definitely not our last! We stopped in at Macayo for the first time and were lucky enough to sit at the bar with Felicia. She made our experience absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Her energy, friendliness, and attention to detail made us feel like regulars right away. The drinks were perfect, the food was great, and her recommendations were spot-on. Felicia’s personality really set the tone for a fun, relaxed evening — she’s a total pro and clearly loves what she does. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Felicia every time. Thanks for making our first visit one to remember!

Took advantage of an offer for BOGO free for the Baja Chimi Grande via delivery service. A chimi grande is supposed to have a crispy/fried tortilla. That is the difference between a wet burrito vs a chimi. The menu even says "crispy flour tortilla". We got 2 alight but the tortillas were never fried. Just wrapped in a tortilla then smothered. So of course they arrived soggy. But even the edges you'd be able to see if actually fried...nope. just a plain tortilla covered in sauce. Was extremely disappointed and wouldn't have ordered even with the deal had we known what we would actually receive.

Felicia, our server, was genuinely great. Very attentive, pleasant, and the highlight of the experience. The food was okay. Not bad, not memorable. Same with the margaritas. Everything felt very generic overall. What really took away from the experience was the music. It wasn’t just loud, it was blaring, club-level volume the entire time. If you enjoy eating while bachata and generic club-style music is blasting in your ears, this might be your place. If you prefer being able to relax or have a conversation, it may not be. In short, the service stood out in a good way. The rest was average, with an atmosphere that just wasn’t for me.

Service was awful. Was told wait was 20 minutes when it was well over 45. Waited almost 20 minutes to be greeted at our table for drinks. Had two year old and a 5 year old with me, which would mean id like children options... was charged for full size drinks in glass cups with no straws and the waiter for whatever reason brought out full size adult meals even though I ordered off the kids menu. It made no sense to me at all but my kids had already dug in by the time he came back 10+ minutes later. My husband ordered a beer and was delivered something else but ended up stuck with it. Total time here was almost 3 hours just for 4 us. Food was surprisingly the fastest thing this macayos offered.. everything else was negative stars. Probably wont come to this location again. And bless the lady at the front desk working her tail off trying to maintain the front, take people chips/salsa, and cleaning up tables.

Waited for over 10 minutes to be acknowledged. Nobody ever came to check on me and ask me if they could help me. There was an older couple that were waiting with me and decided to leave because the service was extremely slow. Asked the kid at the front if someone worked that area usually and he laughed and said yeah and when I told him that the older couple left because of the slow service, he laughed again. Extremely unprofessional attitude. I will never visit this establishment and I will advise others to do go elsewhere as well.
