I’ll start with I’ve been a lifelong macayos goer and have been to most locations and this one is by far the worst. Today I had a horrible experience with them not listening to a simple food request because of a food allergy. I had placed a phone pick up order, when I got there and noticed the allergy request was not followed I was given attitude, and when I asked for the complimentary chips and salsa that wasn’t given to me (you get them with every take out order at every location), the guy looked and me and said you ordered nachos you already have chips. By the way I ordered multiple meals for multiple people so the nachos were only for one person. Also, my other meal was wrong but I didn’t know until I got home. They put red sauce on a Baja burro, not requested nor does it come like that. When they brought me the remade nachos they were half the portion they usually are, and when I asked the manager that gave them to me if this portion looked good to her, she said they always look like that. I’ve ordered these 20+ times and have never been this skimped on. This location is terrible and so are the employees and manager. I would highly recommend going to another location. Queen creek is pretty great.

Visited family in Arizona in October, and decided to try this Mexican restaurant. We went there around 345 pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away. They were slow only a few tables in the restaurant. The chips and salsa were decent. We ordered the corn appetizer and it was delicious. I highly recommend it. The food came out super fast. I ordered the steak fajitas, which were nothing to brag about at all. I will not order them again. Not much of flavor and the meat quality was not the best. Definitely do not recommend. The other order was a vegetarian burrito, which was OK. All in all this place was OK to try once, but there are better Mexican restaurants in the area to spend your money at.

Went to happy hour and the bartender, Devin, was terrific! We got a big plate of nachos and chicken street tacos and the food came out very quickly and was delicious. Get the special margarita mugs and you can get refills for only $3 during happy hour, or only $0.79 cents on Mondays!! Love this place.

The Macayos restaurant in Chandler on Alma School and Queen Creek is excellent and remains one of the best family restaurants in the area. The staff is consistently welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our server is usually Carlos, who is professional, kind, and incredibly attentive. He always goes above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. The food is also fantastic. The chicken fajitas, tostadas, and enchiladas are outstanding, and the fiesta salad is easily one of the best in the valley. The overall value of the food and margaritas makes this an exceptional establishment! Our family highly recommends this location.

Macayo's always has the best tamales. Chips and salsa were great. Service from Carlos was great. Don't know why this place isn't always packed. We went at 5pm on a Thursday though. I had beef tamales in red sauce w/ beans. Recommend the tamales. She had green chile pork stew. And he had 2 enchiladas I think. Reasonable prices. Ready to go again!
