TRY “THE STATION CAFE” INSTEAD Horrible experience, don’t waste your time. Tried going there on a Monday at 12:30pm on the way to Snowbowl. However their door was locked. Checked the hours above the door handle which read “6:30a-6p” then also saw the open neon sign in the window that was lit. So I tried the handle again, looking through the glass I saw two girl baristas behind the counter. So I smiled and waved and was met with their glaring soured milk look. Needless to say I didn’t feel welcomed nor that the baristas were happy to be there. Ended up going to The Station Cafe which was closer to snowbowl and enjoyed their S’more Bar. What a treat! Finished it before I even made it up the mountain.

Not many places are open for coffee on Thanksgiving in Flagstaff, but Matador Coffee Roasting Company was — and we made it in just before closing. Always great when a barista is professional yet personable. Charlotte, was all and made a great cup of coffee. Delicious brew, great ambiance, and the pastries looked tempting. Definitely a must-go.

Matador Coffee Roasting: A Must-Visit Gem! This local roastery is an absolute find where you can enjoy freshly roasted coffee on-site with incredible hospitality. Sunshine (what a perfect name!) welcomed me with such warmth, along with the rest of the amazing team. The vibe here is just wonderful - whether you’re sitting inside or out on the patio that gives off serious Spanish vibes. The coffee is outstanding, and I highly recommend the Turkey Spicy Toasted sandwich - it’s this amazing sweet, savory, and spicy combo that’ll blow your mind! I was so hooked I ordered a second one, plus I had to buy their “Jacked” coffee blend and one of their signature Matador mugs to take home. Pro tip: Order an Americano and you get free refills all day! Huge shoutout to this awesome all-female team. Matador Coffee Roasting is definitely a must-see spot when you’re in Flagstaff!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Nothing special about this shop. Music was a little loud. Latte was good, smooth roast espresso. They were out of almost all of the pastries. Breakfast sandwich was odd, individual components were ok, but didn’t work as sandwich. Loose scrambled eggs and chopped sausage that fell out of the croissant.

Staff was the nicest I have EVER met. Good people, good coffee, good vibes. What more can you ask for? More coffee? Yes please!
