Semi-Private Golf Course - Two championship courses in the heart of Scottsdale
Rachel Kantosky
I was worried about playing this course today after bad recent reviews and lots of rain yesterday. However, the course was in good shape considering the weather and the starter had us play the back 9 of both courses since they were in the best shape. It was a fun and challenging course with beautiful views and helpful staff.

Absolute disgrace of a golf course. Geese everywhere. Water soaked and squishy fairways. Dry dirt lined cart paths which were littered with pot holes. Most importantly, we were overcharged for our rounds (unauthorized) and unable to contact the persons responsible for refunds. Don't waste your money!

Fairway turf not in great shape. Decent variety. Decent price for winter play in Scottsdale. Good service. Little dated....other better public options, but worth the try.

Played the Pines front and Palms front on Saturday 2/21/2026 and had a nice time. Pace of play was around 4.5 hours, which is fine for a Saturday in peak season. The course is tricky, lots of water and some thin lies in the fairways. Some scenic views and fast greens made this a very enjoyable round. At $226, I think it is a touch overpriced. But, I get it. It is Scottsdale in February. Enjoyed my time here and would recommend to others.

Might be one of the worst maintained golf courses in the Valley. Water was everywhere. Sand traps were a disgrace. The cart path was so rough I was literally nauseous @ the end of our round. Way overpriced for what you get. This golf course is an embarrassment to McCormick Ranch and to the state of Arizona. Who ever their golf superintendent is should move to Alaska. This clown has no clue how to take care of a golf course. Absolutely Brutal. Stay Away!
