Out of every coffee shop I’ve visited around the world, this is my absolute favorite. Without exaggeration, Moxie was the highlight of my trip to Phoenix. Across two visits, I tried four different drinks. For the first time, I felt like I tasted “the flavor of everything” in a cup of coffee. ⸻ Letty — Somewhere Between Fruit Tea and Coffee Letty is an incredibly light coffee, existing delicately between fruit tea and traditional coffee. The peach aroma is stunningly vivid. Before even taking a sip, the fragrance alone is captivating. And after drinking it, the aroma lingers in your nasal passages long after the cup is gone. It doesn’t just taste good — it feels like a sensory journey. Soft, bright, layered. It changed the way I think about what coffee can be. ⸻ Espresso Tonic (Sage Version) — A Flavor That Evolves The espresso tonic special version with sage completely surprised me. I would never have imagined sage pairing so harmoniously with coffee. As the sage aroma slowly unfolds, the flavor shifts over time. It’s a dynamic drink — one that evolves as you drink it. ⸻ Musa & Rafah — The Depth of Specialty Coffee Musa and Rafah were equally impressive. Through these drinks, I experienced an incredible range of aromas. At Moxie, I realized something clearly: Coffee isn’t just a single flavor — it’s an entire universe. ⸻ The Atmosphere — A Living Space for Coffee Lovers What makes this place special goes far beyond the drinks. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance — lively but not overwhelming. Some people are working, some studying, some chatting, some playing games. It feels alive. It’s not just a café to “check off a list.” It’s a space that truly belongs to people who love coffee. A place with warmth and everyday life flowing through it. ⸻ The People — The Soul of the Shop The staff deserve the highest praise. Every single person genuinely loves coffee — and loves sharing it. They’re not just serving drinks; they’re sharing stories, flavors, and passion. That enthusiasm gives the shop its soul. ⸻ No matter how much I write, I can’t fully express the joy I feel about this place existing. Some places are special because they help you rediscover something you thought you already knew. For me, Moxie is that place. I will absolutely be back. ☕

What a unique coffee shop! I had a coffee with orange and cardamom in it, and what a unique flavor pairing it was. The excellent hot coffee had a perfect heart-shaped foam top. My aunt had a cold coffee with banana, and it was extremely good. This coffee shop has a great atmosphere inside, with low to moderate noise, perfect for enjoying a conversation or getting some work done. We initially tried to sit outside, but it was difficult to have a conversation due to the loud traffic, so we moved inside. They're working on building a bakery, but in the meantime, they do get fresh pastries, though they run out early. I recommend anyone who enjoys coffee, tea, or matcha to come in here and have a uniquely crafted beverage.

We stopped by after seeing moxie took home a global coffee award. To start with the negative, the acoustics of the space made it quite loud inside although the crowd was certainly contributing to the noise. They also have an outdoor patio with plenty of seating but the busy road also made the outdoor patio a bit loud. A bakery inside the space was The coffee itself was great with one of the most creative house drink menus I have come across. The had a good selection of beans to choose from and the Ethiopian pour over was prepared quite well. The particular roast was good but not a personal favorite. Overall a great coffee shop that I would stop by again.

I got a hot salted carmel latte and I've never had a better latte in my life. Everything was to perfection. Milk steamed perfectly coffee and flavor ratio was perfect, not too sweet. And the cardamom bun was delicious. Overall I recommend this coffee shop 10/10 times but if your in a hurry it might not work as well because this place is good they generally always have a line and depending on how long that line is it could take sometime. But with good coffee comes time.

The employees were great and kind. The coffee was pretty good. Definitely a speciality coffee shop. Enjoyed the pour over cup that I had. This is a great shop to swing by and drink coffee. You can park in the parking garage then walk to the shop. They have some pretty cool shirts that they are selling. They even are selling their own beans. It’s a great place.
