Over the past four years, I’ve trusted Octane Marine with two high-performance Fountain boats, most recently my 38. I’m extremely OCD and demand absolute perfection and Octane has delivered every single time. Their work has included engine rebuilds, outdrive updates, new gauges and shifters, transom and engine-bay refreshes, full trailer restoration, and every imaginable maintenance service. I took my 1995 Howard boat to Octane Marine for a fiberglass repair after getting a hole, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an amazing job. The repair is flawless and my boat honestly looks good as new. From start to finish, they really took care of me and made the whole process easy. Huge shoutout to Slade for his help—super knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. You can tell they take pride in their work.

I have a newer boat. It has a Yamaha outboard. The Yamaha dealer is in Tempe. I was looking for an annual service nearby. Read reviews and Octane Marine stood out. Service manager clearly explained it could take a bit longer cause they are a merc dealer. He was also clear that they are not a Yamaha dealer but they could do any preventative maintenance. I was immediately impressed with how spacious the property is and how clean it looked. Got a tour of the facility. My boat was finished before I expected it and the price was very reasonable. I’m a customer service geek. I expect excellent service everywhere I spend money. I got more than I expected from Octane. I was greeted promptly and I felt important. So many times dealers are busy and they display an entitlement attitude….like they don’t care about your business. I’ve experienced this at 2 different dealers. Don’t answer phone when I call. Slade was immediately refreshing and funny as I entered the building. Again, felt respected by these folks. Every time I called, somebody answered the phone. It’s the little things that make a business successful and success comes with paying attention to the details. Highly recommend this place…especially if you own a Yamaha outboard or any make of engine.

We had an amazing experience buying our first boat. Everyone was highly professional and a joy to work with. Jeff, head of sales, made sure everyone in my family was comfortable with every aspect of the boat during our lake demonstration trip. Charlie, the owner, truly cared about our happiness and made sure we understood all the aspects of the deal. I love these guys at Octane Marine. The owner Charlie is a great guy and knows boats like the back of his hand. Charlie is a man of his word and he backs everything done at his shop. He takes personal interest in every job that comes in and no boat is completed until he or Slade, the service manger approve the work that was done. His team is incredible. Slade is a super guy. Great to talk with and works with you to get your boat in and done right the first time. Charlie’s team is fantastic. I’ve got to mention Slade,Steve, Sonny, Jordie, Josh, Barry and Wendy in the office……The entire crew! They make you feel like family. Their work is crazy good. It’s amazing what they can do. Great job on my boat and thanks so much for a job well done guys! I’ve had extensive work done at Octane on my 262 Cobalt. A year ago I had a transom seal leak and we ended up pulling the engine, outdrive etc. I purchased a new bravo three X drive outdrive and everything turned out perfect. They recently updated my 20 year old Dorsey trailer adding disk brakes and an electric over hydraulic actuator. It turned out outstanding with tons of custom work to make everything fit. Steve, Sonny and Jordy did an amazing job. All of the technicians are super nice and very respectful of your boat. I’m very picky and want things done right. Everyone knows it and they do there very best to accommodate my concerns. It seems like the company mantra is that they just want the customer to be happy! Bottom line. If you have a boat, if the little things matter to you, then there is only one place you should bring it too for service…..Octane!!!! In my opinion you won’t regret your decision. Ted Venhorst
