A beautifully restored 1929 Spanish Baroque Revival theater presenting Broadway touring productions, concerts, and special events. One of Phoenix's most stunning historic venues.

The Orpheum Theater offers excellent acoustics, and its small, intimate layout makes every performance feel personal, drawing you fully into the experience. There isn’t a bad seat in the house—the sound carries cleanly and warmly, enhancing every note. Mary Elizabeth Williams’s voice is absolutely beautiful. Her vocals are rich and expressive, with a natural warmth that fills the room effortlessly. She has remarkable control—moving seamlessly between soft, emotive passages and powerful, resonant moments without ever sounding strained. There’s a clarity and purity to her tone that makes each lyric feel intentional and deeply felt, creating an emotional connection that lingers long after the performance ends. A truly memorable experience from start to finish. 🎶

Beautiful, historic venue with awesome decor and a great vibe. Seats are comfortable, but balcony sightlines are limited—I can’t speak to other sections. Wayfinding could be better; some maps or clearer signage would really help. There’s no dedicated parking, so you’re either hunting for street spots (meters) or paying around $30 at nearby structures, which feels steep. Drinks run about $7 per can/bottle—pricey. All that said, once you’re in your seat, the atmosphere delivers and I still had a really nice experience. Quick tips: •If view matters, avoid far-back balcony; aim for lower levels. •Arrive early or use rideshare/public transit to skip parking hassle.

What a beautiful theatre! My husband and I caught an early showing of The Nutcracker, and the theatre is very clean and well cared for. The seats are really cramped together, but I guess if the show is good enough, you'll forget about that. 😉

The Orpheum is the most beautiful theater in the valley. Not only gorgeous but the acoustics are amazing! We have seen several shows here and it never ceases to amaze. Red velvet seats, gold reliefs, hand painted murals and a gorgeous light show on the ceiling while you wait for your performance (clouds, shooting stars, moon phases, sunsets.) 100 years old, well preserved and beautiful. A real Phoenix gem!

Takes you back! Definitely a ton of details all over to look at while there! Beautiful place to go to for an event! I specially LOVE the ceiling, with its changing lighting that emanate the night sky or clouds that roll by!
